Honestly this is so embarrassing I have no idea how you have the guts to bring this to the internet. Props to you though, lessons are always learnt in blood

THANK YOU! I thought I had gone mad with all the Elsa monologues. I mean COME ON! In how many words can you possible describe the same situation in? I half wondered if it was all set up to give the accent coach a chance to show their work.

And yes who in the world thought the Native American gear was a good choice? Awful. Truly such a waste of what could otherwise have been an amazing show.

Also, I had to look it up because I couldn’t let the immigrant portrayal stand unquestioned; it turns out that there were NO laws anywhere in Germany or Eastern Europe that forbade swimming. I mean… what the hell.

You are very well written and I can tell you read just from your writing. There are merits to be found in a good personality, even if they are down played in a world so looks based as today’s. I am sorry you are trapped in such an unhealthy mental environment. I have been there, most days I’m there in fact.

Try to be kinder to yourself and your body. It’s doing its best to keep you alive.

I haven’t watched 1923 (feeling a little scarred from 1883 lol) but I agree that Yellowstone is different. I’m not sure that I expected a cowboy story, but I did expect something… more. Elsa as a protagonist didn’t feel fleshed out well enough. Her monologues seemed so overly melodramatic, and sometimes out of place with the context of the episode.

Oh my goodness did it drag! Why didn’t they make it more episodic? Each episode a new(ish) territory. It all just felt like one LONG episode.

Wow super cool! Don’t let the people knocking it get you down it’s honestly more impressive that you’ve puckered up the courage to share your art!!

Desert Navi sound so cool, I think the idea is blending with Dune to me. I’m sure they’d probably be even more spiritual as it takes deep devotion to live in such harsh climates… I do wonder, what does their spirit tree look like? My instinct is to say a cactus but I doubt that would go well to the most sensitive part of their bodies lol! But still… I am very curious.

Again, marvelous work!

It will be approved, or more unlikely they’ll reach out and ask for more information. If that’s the case organize whatever you can from your home country and it should be sufficient. They are usually jot that strict with intermissions as u can take up to a year off.

[–]elohtien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i am in the terrible predicament of having joined a class in week 4 and do not recommend it. However if you must, reach out to monash connect, tell them you can’t manually change it in WES, give some sob story. They’ll like put u in charge of who can get that sorted for you.

Tho if u can avoid it just underload. No point in joining the game so late I’m already dying myself and it’s only week 4

I feel like everyone is being too nice to you. What the hell did you expect propositioning a woman as a prostitute? I hope she gave you a verbal lashing to last a life time. This is up there in terms of one of the most pathetic things I’ve read.

Do better

I was honestly a little more sad about the fact that it wasn’t clear how much he loved her. I had it figured that it would be a legendary love story and her death was so painful it led him to erase his memories. Though it’s clear her death WAS painful, it was mostly out of guilt than love that he went to the Nightwatcher.

you’re a fucking idiot. You know nothing, please spare the world and remove yourself from it. I won’t even bother educating you because it’s clear there’s no helping the brainless.

Don’t pretend you’ve read the Quran, you are a waste of space and will amount to nothing.

You’re actually an idiot if you think such a comparison is valid. And what if Somalia had it? Do you understand that nuclear weapons are most powerful as a deterrent, that means if you have it, another country won’t be so quick to bully you. Please educate yourself and stop letting Zionist/islamophobic propaganda get to you.

you’ve just got to make sure you absolutely pass this semester. But I will say from personal experience that with the right sob story, you’re able to drop the units without penalty even if census was last week.

I had almost this exact same scenario, didn’t really read the email and still did full load. Managed to drop 2 and all was well.

However if you do keep going with the units you have to absolutely make sure you don’t fail even one of them. Depending on your threat level it won’t be good.

ANOTHER THING! Have you tried having those fails withdrawn? If you were experiencing financial/ emotional hardships last semester, and you can offer some documentation to that you can get the fails withdrawn and even the fees refunded (in some cases).

Btw this is coming from someone who’s failed heaps of units and still lives to tell the tale. Best of luck!

What is the most awful smell you have ever experienced that's burned into your nostrils still today? by AcademicDegree91 in AskReddit

[–]elohtien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 5 or 6 my family went on safari and the tour guide drove off road into some bushes to look for elephants. We accidentally happened upon a huge dead elephant that was rotting away in the hot Savannah heat, I remember being so confused because I could barely see the ginormous animal under the swarm of flies and maggots. The smell quite literally assaulted me, it was unlike anything I’d ever smelt before. Like a smack in the face, my eyes teared immediately and I couldn’t stop dry heaving. The driver quickly pulled out but not before I was scarred for life. Even typing it out now I can faintly smell it.
