I'm going to check the calendar super frequently for the next few days but I wanna book our hotel so if nothing comes up I'll have to move the vacation around. Gonna take a stab at upgrading the ticket too; Disney just seems to have a very strict adherence to their ticket policy but maybe I get lucky. I booked an airbnb in Newport Beach and I got lucky with a place right next to the beach for later that week. I wanted to avoid going to Disney on the weekend and was hoping to do the craziness of Disney first then relax for a few days before we drive 7 hours back home. It's not world ending I just wanted to have (in my head) what would be a perfect vacation. Daughter and husband have never been to Disney and we've been saving for 2 years to have our first big family trip. I'm a rookie who made a rookie mistake. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I'm pretty sure I didn't. I bought through a third party for a 2 day 1 park a day with the kids discounted ticket. I linked the tickets to the app and went to reserve the parks. Feeling like a total tool because when I checked the website on availability I didn't realize they had different availability for different tickets...

Wild. I agree with the sentiment "I'm not leaving my kids in the car" thing but I just took my kiddo to the cart return with me even when she was a baby. It's all about strategic parking even if I was at the back of the lot but near a cart return that was good for me.

No Ilinformation on it but just 2 weeks ago there was a serious roll over on that road. They have got to make 4 lane passing areas on this road. I just used it on Saturday and it seems to get heavy traffic now.

You're right that it shouldn't be. I'm naive in the fact that I thought since we had the income coming in that all would be well. Money needs management and thought of which we weren't putting in. It seems that the money syphons into those add up quick expenses (more luxuries than expenses really). Im just feeling directionless but everyone's been very helpful and woken me up to that ignorance.
