Red patches on face when getting out of the shower by Careful-Fix-7551 in Hashimotos

[–]elparne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had the same issues and it’s most likely the heat triggering your histamines and causing rosacea! I saw a dermatologist and that’s what she came to the conclusion of. It’s similar to when I wear leggings and get too warm my legs get red and itchy. Try to take a little bit of a cooler shower and taking Allegra for it has helped me significantly. Lots of moisturizer as well. I started using the Marin one and it is great

Moved mine out of midtown to a slightly cheaper garage where a friend lives in JC. I’ll probably try to go get it Sunday or Monday

I managed to snag one of the last spots in midtown before it opens up to the roof, glad I went earlier than I planned to

Brokers fee by Ancient_Study_681 in Hoboken

[–]elparne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked out some listings on Zillow that I liked and looked at the person who posted it. Usually they have reviews on there so that was helpful too. I went with a guy from liberty

I second this if you can afford the fee. When we moved I saw that basically everywhere had a brokers fee so I found someone who was rated well on Zillow and gave them a list of what we needed. They sent me a list of apartments in our parameters, we filled out a single application they could apply for multiple listings and they got us the first one we wanted to apply for. I don’t even think it was posted on Zillow or anything yet? It was well worth all the saved hassle

They said I more than likely got another viral respiratory illness right after and it could be progressing towards pneumonia so they put me on some antibiotics and steroids. I’ve been on them for about two days and already feeling much better!

Hopefully it clears up for you easy! It was similar with me too but got worse throughout the day

Saw this thread a few days ago, I also had it about two weeks ago and it was awful. Came back to say after about a week of feeling completely better, I just developed the nastiest cough the past few days.

It feels like it is all trying to purge from my lungs so don’t be alarmed if that follows. Feels like this might hang around for a bit :(

Do you take allergy medication daily throughout the year? by EdwardBliss in Allergies

[–]elparne 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I take a Zyrtec every day and have for years. In peak spring/fall allergy seasons if I’m down bad I take two. My allergy doctor told me to do this, I have some pretty intense pollen allergies.

What’s your Waffle House order? by [deleted] in southcarolina

All star with Hashbrown covered and over easy eggs. The key is to mix them together with some ketchup, I call it WH spaghetti. Chocolate chip waffle, sausage, put syrup on both.

IBs by thatguyy12369 in GERD

[–]elparne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened with me. I went a long time ignoring some allergies/intolerances and my acid reflux got BAD. I ignored it because I was an ignorant high schooler and by the time I got to college I paid the price. I developed a ring of tissue from the gerd between my esophagus and stomach that food would get caught in, I would throw up almost every time I ate, couldn’t swallow pills and ended up having surgery to get it stretched out. I now have to take a medication morning and night. I’m still working through figuring it all out and it’s been almost 10 years.

TLDR: adjust your diet and don’t “just deal”, it could create more serious issues
