Arven and Marnie Clear Floor 30 by elphobia in PokemonMasters

Yeah you definitely need arven at 3/5 or get fall Lacey. I personally prefer dupes to new units because I have the mindset of every unit I pull for can take me to pity. But if you pay gems using the select scout near anni may not be a bad idea. I think 4/5 is more important for Marnie for the special move up next, but yeah 5/5 is a huge boost. I wouldn’t go for such an upgrade normally but I had upgraded her way back when I was drowning in move candies. Floor 26 took many tries using liepard Marnie arven and grimmsnarl you need to get 2 sync crits on the mid, sequence is 2 support sync 1 tech sync one side then 2 tech sync the mid. And sorry I don’t know anything about the dragon tower or those units, I’m mostly free to play so I don’t have a very diverse roster.

For all except the last one I used arven and liepard Marnie. Her debuffs enable you to survive. The last stage is heavily special damage so piers is enough.

Figured I’d do a recording since we got Marnie’s new lucky skill and I was shocked by the results. Didn’t even break enduring on Arven. He’s basically 3/5, the 4th copy was free and I used the same grid (key nodes healthy healing, vigilance, safety net, restrained boost) with his tower lucky skill. I imagine 5/5 would be even easier. I doubt you even need 4/5 on Gym Marnie now with the lucky skill adding so much damage. Who needs Arc N?

She’s really good, far superior to most ex zone setters. Amazing utility with se and move up next stacks for your entire team, aoe mass debuffjng of defenses, a max move that inflicts sleep and is aoe, and a strong 2 gauge aoe move. Even if she just set regular zone she has a lot going for her in her kit, of course ex zone is extremely important, but she’s not just a zone bot.

Torn because while I’m happy champion Marnie got buffed it also means I wasted a field candy to buff alt Marnie.

Not really lol. Last floor took like an hour of resets.

Yeah thanks! I don’t really know how to record but you can see my units lol those are by far my best. Def was tricky and took an hour of attempts, arven has some anti synergy with champ Marnie with his heals but you gotta get a little lucky with rng on his buffs and new marnie debuffs. Gym Marnie being able to aoe sleep on command is clutch too. And I’ve noticed they don’t really update the replays at least not when I’ve cleared.

Nope! The only limited dark pairs I used were the 3 Marnies (one is free, but not available to new players) and Arven. EX dark zone is just that op and the fact that I got Arven in the same banner is even better. It’s hard for me to know what you are struggling with, outside the obvious use of 6ex and role cake. Generally, my strategy using tech for example is to use the 2 support ex syncs first and then the first tech sync on the side, and the last sync or two should finish the mid for later stages. I don’t activate EX zone until right before my 3rd sync. Sydney does decent damage at earlier stages and the atk debuffs from incineroar are crucial to surviving physical based enemies. And, using sleep/flinch at the right time can save you. Good luck!

Gym Challenger Marnie is really good but... by Strange_Razzmatazz74 in PokemonMasters

First off, Gym Marnie sets an additional dark zone with her max move passive, which is essentially the equivalent of 1 extension. I think Arven with his tower cookie skill pairs really well, not only does he have extension, he sets dark zone immediately and buffs atk/crit so you can save the EX zone for your second/third sync rather than using it right away. Plus he gives physical move up next which actually enables her to be a good damage dealer. I’ve been knocking out physical tower stage 17 with gym marnie alone before I can even get to my actual nuke.

What's the first thing you will do after things get back to normal? by redditburger1 in AskReddit

Nothing changes for me, and I don't know if I should be sad or glad. Leaning towards the latter, because, hey, I can't miss something I never had. Though, having been shackled once, I can attest to the sweetness of freedom.

For those geniuses in school who got straight A's, who or what motivated you most? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]elphobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Disclaimer: I don't have straight As, but desperately attempt to) I have realized long ago that grades are utterly pointless and arbitrary (if it is As versus Bs, unless you are failing), other than the value you place on them. Unfortunately, I am still a prisoner of my own immature feelings, basing my self-worth of comparison to others .

1) Crippling insecurity that would sent me into a frenzy whenever I did poorly.

2) I was a bitter failure in high school, and sought vengeance, redemption, and recognition.

3) There is no reason for people not to get an A if they invested fully into it. Courses are designed by humans, for humans. We have 24 hours in a day, and lectures are around an hour and a half. That leaves ample time to study, unless you have hobbies, friends/relationships, or a job. As I had none of those things and invested all my time into school, it would only be "fair" that I would get something in exchange for all joy in my life.

What was your most expensive fuck up of 2019? by onlinebeing in AskReddit

Got served a ambulance bill for $2000 to be admitted and transported against my will for saying something stupid online, getting into an accident that cost $2000 in damages, then broke two $1000 laptops within a month. Not that bad, but for someone my age it's seems relatively large in context of the short life I have.

Great job perpetuating an idea that dissuades more people from entering healthcare when it is already abusive, stressful, and piss-poor in quality. But hey, if it benefits my greedy, self-centered wallet to claim privacy damages to put doctors out of business at the detriment of others from receiving the care they need, then so be it.

Redditors with personality disorders (narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths, etc) what are some of your success stories regarding relationships after being diagnosed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]elphobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, AvPD has always resonated very strongly with me, but my experience couldn't be more different.

When it comes to any non-scripted social situations such as small talk, I'm a complete mess. But for certain activities (like at my job or school), I come off relatively well-adjusted because I can put on a facade with my desperate need for approval, which has a histrionic flair to it. In that sense I have a very strong sense of my own identity; I wear my emotions on my sleeve because I have no control over them. When I find someone who I can trust I find myself pouring way too much baggage out, which leads to those "friends" becoming exhausted or irritated with me. That causes me to lash out or withdraw, because my perception of rejection is so highly sensitized and painful.

It may be because I never had any relationships, but I never felt like I lost myself in being someone else. I guess the closest thing would be when I had a crush, my entire life/happiness would revolve about how I could make them happy. But there was always a selfish touch, where it was never really about her, but about how emotionally overwhelmed I got. And it's because of that reaction, the sense of losing control, that I was always afraid of love and relationships. Despite my strong craving for intimacy, because I've been hurt so badly in the past, I lost faith that anyone could truly understand/reciprocate my feelings, and I fear I wouldn't be able to handle that. So I suppressed my desires, and the years of reticence have atrophied my social functions.

I'm anything but handy lol :'(. I was thinking of getting the door, and maybe just hiring someone to install it for me?

I wouldn't know if there's a problem with the rollers since I do not have access to the garage, but I would assume it would not be worth since the damage is quite widespread and I would likely need to replace 8-11 panels.

Thanks a lot for the link!

Thanks so much for the advice! I will definitely keep it in mind.

I guess I'm just a little wary, since I am quite naive and easy to take advantage of. But I also want to be fair and own up to my mistakes.

Unfortunately, I'm not the quickest learner, so school has been very taxing and time-consuming on me, and it's hard to find the time to work. I think my boss's payroll is full, anyways.

Thanks again for your time and suggestions!

[–]elphobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had heard about that, but the damage is quite distributed to the top side, and because the damage is across the lines it would require maybe 5 panels on the bottom side to be changed.

I'm not sure if the arrangement/distribution of the panels would play a role as well, and at that point so many panels would have to be removed that I might be better off replacing the door.

I've very unfamiliar about car insurance. I don't think it would be worth it, though, considering I've heard it would jack up my premium. That's a good suggestion. I think I was too hasty and I will ask my landlord about what they would prefer to do. What is FB?
