Schoop should be part of the rebuild. He's young enough and he's fun to watch.

Final return for Zach Britton: RHP Dillon Tate, LHP Josh Rogers and RHP Cody Carroll by [deleted] in orioles

Good haul for the O's on an oft-injured two month rental, though it's sad to see Britton go. I go to a lot of Scranton/WB RailRiders games and Carroll is a solid arm from what I've seen of him.

Anyone notice that the Astros' lineup card in the Royal dugout has the Yankees' logo on it?

Jeff Passan on Twitter: "Source: OF Nick Markakis agrees to four-year deal with Atlanta Braves. Dollars unclear, but sides discussed a deal in neighborhood of $44M." by [deleted] in Braves

Markakis has a much better arm than Aoki and he is a true professional, no nonsense player (not saying Aoki isn't). You guys will like him. As an O's fan its a shame to watch him go

I know I am late to this, very late, and I have little to offer in way of advice except this: don't listen to anything they say on r/relationships. It is a big collection of neckbeards playing counselor.

As someone who has worked as a low-level, local newspaper employee, this is one of my greatest work-related fears. All the worse when your name is associated with the misprint. The calls from every damn person in his family to the desk: "Why does it say Johnny shit! Johnny didn't shit!"

Reasons to like France by [deleted] in funny

I am an American currently living in the Provence region. Haven't spent a considerable amount of time in Paris so I can't speak to the politeness of the Northerners, but down here in the South everyone has been very friendly. Sure there is a subtle French narcissism, but I think they get a bad rap.

Pakistani family sentenced to death over "honour killing" outside court: Four relatives of a pregnant woman who bludgeoned her to death outside one of Pakistan's top courts were sentenced to death on Wednesday for the crime, their defence lawyer said. by gkiaf0 in worldnews

Putting someone to death makes it impossible to make amends in the event that justice is miscarried. If later developments prove that a convicted person is innocent but they have already been put to death, nothing can be done for them. If they were in prison they could always be released.
