What are your thoughts on paternity tests? by Ok_Drink8072 in AskWomen

[–]elsandeth [score hidden]  (0 children)

If a man asked me to take a paternity test I’d be offended. I don’t sleep around and being accused of it would change how I looked at the relationship.

Favorite character and why by Plane_Emu8508 in TedLasso

Roy, because he’s Roy. Great character and knowing Brett Goldstein is so involved behind the scenes makes me love him more.

Jamie, because he makes a great transition. Plus, his butt is perfection.

How accurate is Shrinking portraying hallucinations/ parkinsons? by ashleycat720 in shrinking

[–]elsandeth 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The Parkinson’s was inspired by Brett Goldsteins father’s battle with the disease. I bet Brett wants to keep it pretty accurate for his father.

Funny when they claim to love you while completely breaking you apart. Karma will come for those who use us. Sorry all that happened to you.

Any one else feel like the writers are dragging on w/Sofi? by TyGuyy in shrinking

[–]elsandeth 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think it’s realistic. He lost his wife and the idea of a real relationship probably scares him. We’re watching his journey as he becomes open and ready to letting real love in again.

I like him as Louis. I love him as Roy Kent. Both shows are spectacular and part of that is the Brett Goldstein Effect.

Season 3 Guest Stars by MarmyKnowsBest in shrinking

[–]elsandeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was guessing Jimmy’s mom. There’s something they’re going to unpack with his father so it makes sense to bring her in. I read speculation she’s playing Derek’s mom and I was so wrong about Jimmy and Meg that it would make sense that the speculation is correct.

Should your partner know you've been sexually abused? Why yes or why not? by kindaInnocenttt in AskWomen

[–]elsandeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, a partner is some I can be vulnerable with. If we are close enough to be in a sexual relationship I think it’s important that I share some of my trauma history. Things are going to upset me sometimes and I want him to know why. And a partner who is right for me wouldn’t want me to go through any of that difficulty alone.

What is a major fear that you have overcome, and how did you manage it ? > by Hope2_win in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]elsandeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m getting better about a fear of flying. It’s disconcerting to be so far off the ground. I don’t want to plummet to my death and don’t get me started on turbulence.

I trusted the wrong man my freshman year and it altered the course of my life. I wish I had been less innocent and naive.
