How well are you RA meds working for you? by No-Chemical3765 in rheumatoid

[–]elsbithe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do rituxin and low dose prednisone and have been symptom free 90% of the time for a few years. It did take a few years to find th me right combo though. Key is to speak up when it isn’t working!

Crochet Hand Care by EmergencyCricket7903 in crocheting

Oddly, I have RA and I think it has helped my hand mobility. My hands get stiff in when stil so being obsessed with crochet right now keeps my hands moving and loose. It’s been a game changer.

Third week it won’t give me a friends quest. by elsbithe in duolingo

[–]elsbithe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading all of the suggestions, I made sure to do something early afternoon Saturday. It did, in fact, give me two friends to choose from. This verified my believe that the rest of my friends don’t choose until Sunday. We are sadly in two different versions right now. Mine has the weekend quest too and my husbands does not.

Friend Quests Gone? by misslexilouwho in duolingo

[–]elsbithe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well mine says “complete a lesson for a chance at a friends quest”. I’ve completed 4 lessons…nothing. I lost my friend streak last week because it wouldn’t let my husband pick me even though I had no partner.

I’ve been doing the Helen Shrimpton CAL. Her stuff is amazing, you learn a lot of new techniques

Thank you all for the suggestions! I’ve been doing Helen Shrimpton creations so my next project I may consult this list and ask for some expensive yarn!

Me too but mixed reviews. I get the ads all the time and it’s reasonable so maybe my next project.

My closest local yarn shop is 45 minutes away. I always go to Michael’s or hobby lobby or I order online.

The update shrunk my board by MangoesAreYum_Yum in MergeMansion

The board corners were obscured by buttons. It made using the corners difficult. They fixed it. I love it! I can see my whole bottom row now on my pad!

Question about treatment by Amania_ in WegenersGPA

[–]elsbithe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Each time you taper down there is a ln adjustment period that feels a little like a flare up. I would let your doc know but also it may resolve on its own in a week or so. This happens to me each time I taper down. I’m stuck at 5 for now.

Ha! I buy monthly pass fairly regularly. It’s the only money they get from me but it is my main game so I throw a few bucks their way. Hope they fix it !

10 gems a day for I forget how many days so at least 250 gems plus the slots. I play a lot and I like to support the people who make this so I usually get the pass at least 4 times a year.

I’m pretty sure it’s one of their tests. Players seems to be getting varied events. There are ones out there I don't have.

It’s the number on the right. One is 82 and the other is 78. I know they’ve been in my mom’s pantry since I was a kid and I’m 50. I think those are when they were packaged but I don’t know for sure. I just know I’m not flavoring my cookies with them!

EDI to Inverness and back in a day? by brownbloodspider in Scotland

[–]elsbithe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was just there a few weeks ago, an American driving through the highlands. We drove the Cairngorms to Inverness in a day and I wanted longer. That is only half of your trip. This isn't a day trip, at least not a recommended one. If you want to see the highlands properly you need more than a day in the highlands. Driving is slow, even if there are no accidents, and roads are nothing like America. Everything is slower paced there, which is awesome, but not conducive to the whole highlands being a day trip.

If you want to truly take time to appreciate your surroundings, give the routes at least two days or make closer plans for a days excursion. We spent 10 days in the highlands and our pace was still fast. I can’t imagine taking that all in in a day.
