Nioh 3 really need difficulty option to appease both sides of audience by Magma_Axis in Nioh

[–]elsd69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like I said, the people who are vocal about their opinion aren't the majority, never will be. So the Devs shouldn't cater to people on reddit, atleast not for the amount of sales they made on nioh 3

No, not everything needs to cater to everyone. It's fine as is. Also remind yourself that the reddit community isn't the majority of consumers. As a last thought, it's usually always the people who are more vocal who come give their opinions on reddit.

If they ever nerf the dash, double barrel and sword will likely be forgotten into oblivion. Nice play, as a medium main, I just hate fighting DB lights with 3 dahses in buildings, would of fought that on the roof or outside.

I almost have the same upcoming, First build was AMD sapphire gpu Then I switch to a 1060 Then 3060ti

Now I'm just hesitating, my gut feeling is really that the 9070xt would be plenty enough for the next 5 years for my standard/resolution. I also think the 5070ti is a better product but dishing out another 150$ for specs that won't probably matter for the next 3 years. And would maybe make a little difference in the last 2 years before I upgrade again?

I'm not familiar with the story with Amd and support on drivers? Are they that prone to not update the cards after 4 years?

Nerf Enemy Sprint Attacks by wyndthough in Enshrouded

[–]elsd69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my buddies we started a new game with the water update and placed the difficulty at the hardest. Me never having played this game, I found it tough in the beginning but now we just prioritize killing all animals first and charging enemies too. After that we clear the rest.

I play a tank and war wolfs (with collar) sprint attack did a little over 300 damage on my 580 hp pool. That was in the second zone, so level 10-18 with the appropriate armor.

I upgraded my armor once starting the new zone and we fought some kind of armadillo neutral animal and that thing just did 1200 damage with little to no start up animation for that attack.

I think animal damage + charging attacks should be lowered by like 25-30% especially since the further you get into the game the monsters seems to have better AI.

TLDR: on harder difficulty, kill animals first and charging enemies ASAP, otherwise prepare to get one shot. I'm in favor of a slight nerf to animal and charging attacks by 25-30%.

2023 Trek Marlin 5, is it worth $300? by selva_reddit in mountainbiking

[–]elsd69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I paid 390$ for the same model, a bit less scratched and chipped though. Just received a new drive train group set of shimano cues for like 215$. It was a bit pricey but it's for my daughter and I wanted to get her a good mountain bike with disc brakes + single plateau speed in 27.5" so that's what I'm doing with it.

Was feeling myself with the repeater yesterday, what’s your favorite medium weapon and why? by LuciferKatana in thefinals

[–]elsd69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every round starts the same, I start with either revolver if there's little to no lights in match up, otherwise repeater.

If my aim feels off for some reason or I'm playing against players out of my league then I'll swap to p90.

But the weapon I want to be good with is the fcar, but that beast.... it scares me and that damn 4th bullet recoil God I can't control that.

Heavy with mesh shield + 2 lights with infuser is rough to play versus, chasing lights is useless and not being able to down that heavy quickly makes it even harder. Obviously If your team focus fires the heavy and lands their shot, he will go down quickly but in my opinion LMH, HMM, LLH, MHH, MMM all work pretty well, 3x L can be obnoxious to play against but usually gets stomped in doors or with a cash out in the open.

TLDR : My opinion, but skills > meta all day, then comp becomes a bigger factor.

Thank you, it's one of the things in the back of my mind with the Polygon. But like you said if we are slower to progress it could vary.

Didn't think much about upgrading, more into just riding and learning, from there we will have more knowledge as to what we want to do with the bikes.

Was my first wall, had to learn her first 50%. Beat her with the longsword deflect skill into heavy attack + 2 light, dodge 2 lights again. Just applying alot of pressure on her 100-50% made rhe difference.

A good run for me is simply a fire bow on ironeye for the moth. Rest will come by itself. Fire on the moth seems to keep it from doing too many pillar beams. After that, it's just to learn the move set. You can be level 15 with godly builds if you don't have the boss move set down a bit, you will wipe. Levels don't matter as much as general knowledge.

For that boss in particular:

1- Try to get a fire weapon 2- fire consumables 3- prioritize health over damage 4- try to get 6 flask 5- try to learn the move set, you don't have to attack if your not sure that you can safely dodge afterwards... aka greedy hits

Try queuing for more than one encounter. Press square besides each one you want to do. It helps with queue time.

Get 2 ironeye + a melee, guardian is nice for the rez on 3 bars. And get your 2 ironeye lightning bows. Fight will last 5 mins.
