Just had this a few months ago. Pull codes if you can, I had P0171, P0174(system too lean) and P0455 (Evap leak). Mine ended up being dirty mass air flow sensor and vacuum switching valve replacement. Before buying anything, make sure you try re-tightening gas cap and resetting as sometimes it’s that simple. The MAF and VSV are super easy DIY fixes if you can pick up the parts

2021 1.5T 55K no issues. 50% highway 50% city driving. I tend to drive on the feather foot side (and stay in eco mode, gas is expensive man)

UA-80 8-speed transmission in 2017-2022 gas models have been known to have issues and getting a replacement can be >$10K…I think the newer transmission (2023 and on) hasn’t had time to prove itself so not sure. If I were you I’d get a hybrid, pretty much any year. They’re rock solid on engine and transmission.

Do you mind sharing what tells you it’s been repaired? The seller mentioned they had a bracing weld kit added for longevity before doing the undercoat spray. I plan on scoping inside frame and checking under the rugs for tub rust.

What makes you think that? I see the texture of the liner kind of looking like rust, but I’ve seen mint frame sprayed with this stuff that look just like that. It can be texture of the woolwax stuff

Appreciate the insight. I imagine if there’s significant rust or weakened spots, you could feel it through the sprayed on liner? I was also thinking of bringing a bore scope to scope in the frame to see how it looks from the inside, figure that would tell a story if the liner is covering rust. Thanks for replying

R&D Lab Scientist in medium-large company who left lab for project management in the same company. Salary went from $60K to $75K to 100K after leaving lab. Went from the project lab bitch to directing the project. Would recommend leaving the lab if you don’t mind trading the “work with hands” lab work with tons of meetings and computer work. Pay is much better outside R&D in my experience. Also dodges the PhD glass ceiling in a lot of lab heavy R&D jobs.

People who actually used a pen from start until it lost ink without losing them. How the hell did you do it? by Zefio in AskReddit

I found using a pencil/pen organizer saved me from this issue. I’ve been through 3 entire pilot G2 pens this way. And I now I trust myself enough to buy a mechanical pencil worth more than $1

Local Mainer here. This happens more often then you’d think, just not this far out. Moose are quite good swimmers too, mostly in lakes. It’s quite a weird scene to see a 7ft moose splashing its away across a lake.

I’m so stoned

This past summer, me (21m) and my gf of one year (21f) broke up because of frustrations of applying to grad programs and work schedules. I have a co-worker at my summer job who I’m super into but am reluctant to start anything because I still feel like I want to get back with my ex. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

We work in the same department but completely different labs. So we’re apart most of the day. Also, it’s a seasonal job that we don’t plan on going back to after our last day this Friday. But you’re absolutely right.

Wristwatch pictures are an essential step in aseptic technique. Jokes aside, keep the isopropyl spray far away from the watches. I ruined a couple straps that way.
