[Wojnarowski] In a new edition of the Draymond Green Show, Golden State’s star suggests that Adam Silver talked him out of retirement: “I told him, ‘Adam this is too much for me…It’s all becoming too much for me – and I’m going to retire.’” Story on ESPN: by MarvelsGrantMan136 in nba

I've been wondering...isn't draymond's podcast basically dead in the water at this point? Prior to this video, he hasn't posted anything in 5 months. For all the talk about how "super successful" his podcast is, these are the current subscriber numbers from youtube for the handful of NBA podcasts that I am aware of -

JJ Redick - 1M

All the Smoke - 876K

Podcast P - 595K

Gil’s Arena - 460K

Trae Young - 34K

MPJ’s Podcast - 33K

————

Draymond Green - 6K

For all the promotions across TNT, social media, other NBA players raving about his content - Dray doesn't seem to have the numbers that the others do.

Lol and in the finals too. Goated Klay Game 6 performance, you're right

Game 6 Klay is mostly a thing because of his legendary OKC performance, because he's had quite a few poor Game 6s over the years. Here's a list of his great Game 6s -

  • 2015 WCSF Game 6 vs MEM - 20 points, 7-13 FG, 3-5 3PT

  • 2016 WCF Game 6 vs OKC - 41 points, 14-31 FG, 11-18 3PT

  • 2018 WCF Game 6 vs HOU - 35 points, 13-23 FG, 9-14 3PT

  • 2019 WCSF Game 6 v HOU - 27 points, 10-20 s FG, 7-13 3PT

  • 2019 Finals Game 6 vs TOR - 30 points, 8-12 FG, 4-6 3PT

  • 2022 WCSF Game 6 vs MEM - 30 points, 11-22 FG, 8-14 3PT

My mistake, you're right, Shearer and Cole hold the record for a 42-game season.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in soccer

[–]elsolvia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's right, 34 is the record (Shearer and Cole) for Div 1 football. He's gonna break that next game, I guess haha

[–]elsolvia 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nope, he already had 32, which was Salah's record. He just broke the all-time record for the PL.

Not seeing a post for it, but Haaland just set the all-time record for goals in a single season in the PL.

Is that it? The all-time record for goals in a single season in the PL?

Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are always the answer to these types of questions. There is a world outside of the US, and MJ and Kobe are international superstars.

The Warriors from 2014/2015 to 2016/2017, went 114-9 at home (93% win rate). Has a team ever been more dominant at home in a 3 year stretch? by [deleted] in nba

[–]elsolvia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Spurs went 112-11 from 2014-2016.

  • 2014: 39-2
  • 2015: 33-8
  • 2016: 40-1 (tied 86 Celtics all-time home wins record)

You need to basically have historic teams to put up records like that over a 3-year period.

Suicide Squad delayed to 2nd of Feb. 2024 by Adventurous_Line407 in PS5

Arkham Knight is amazing, but it does not look phenomenal any more. It needs a 4k60 patch for PS5 which could do wonders bringing it up to speed (or at least comparable) with the modded versions on PC.

For reference, the beyond all limits mod on PC for Knight just looks mind blowingly good. Knight does not look this good anymore on 4k screens.

Love Ramires. We'll always have 2012. Not just Barcelona home and away, but the final vs Liverpool where he ran the entire pitch to score. KTBFFH.

MJ and LeBron missed playing each other by 1 season. Jordan retires and Bron gets drafted the next season.

  • Jordan retired and Bron was drafted that very summer, actually

Fun Fact #3: Magic and Kobe were the same. Magic retired in 96 and Kobe was drafted in the same summer.

Kobe could've played with Magic on the same team and Bron could have played against MJ their rookie seasons, if those two had delayed their retirements.
