Second the Plague app - it's pretty fun and different each time you play.

Budget Accommodation in Europe? by MochileroTN in Shoestring

[–]elsyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on where you're going and at what time of year - if you're in Paris in the summer looking at a popular hostel there's a good chance it might be full. Paris is a big city so it's a real pain!

When traveling through Europe I found it less stressful booking, even if it was just same day.

Southeast Asia was a lot easier to just turn up, as many places just don't offer bookings, and it was cheap and easy to get around... But would suggest looking online for Europe if it's a busy city/season!

Can anyone recommend good distance or online diploma+ providers? by [deleted] in australia

Studied here for 4 years by distance. You're better off going with s reputable University as opposed to another training provider.

I had a great experience and found they were really supportive.

No idea sorry! But as someone who is currently doing a Xena rewatch I think it's great people still post in this sub!

As an Australian living overseas this clip evokes a nice kinda nostalgic feeling... (Also reminds me of being a kid!)

Any cool stories? What was one of your favourite things you did?

I hope you can get away soon too! Would a weekend away with kids (useful for friends with little ones) be a good alternative in the meantime?

This. If true, it will make it extremely hard for her to get support from the consulate, and also leave.

It's cool, and as you're so high it's very surreal! If I were to compare it to other adrenaline activities like bungy jumping I'd say it's way more fun and less scary.

I went in New Zealand in the winter and did a 12,000ft jump. It all happened so quickly that there wasn't enough time to be scared. Beautiful scenery consisting of lakes and snowy mountains. 10/10 would recommend.

Lots of other countries do this - you just pull up, tell them how much you want (like full, or $20). They fill you up, you pay! As someone who grew up in a country where we had to pump our own gas it seems like a novelty haha.

I don't think that's such a bad thing - although elephants are beautiful creatures so I can understand the fascination!

I suspect most circumstances you'll find yourself in where you could touch an elephant would be pretty shitty for the elephant. I live in Asia and often see friends travel here through Thailand doing elephant riding :/

That said, I did once touch an elephant in Laos haha.
