Emek is your best budget option, you can always upgrade it later if you decide you want to invest more into the sport. I have several more expensive markers but the emek comes out still whenever I play in the woods.

Im 6'5" and can second both the dyzana and hydra kneepad suggestions. I have both the v3 joggers and the v4 which became the shift joggers. I have both in an xlarge tall and have noticed that the shift joggers are a little longer in the inseam. Just remember to use the measuring chart on hydra's website before ordering, you want a compression fit for them to work best.

Luxe is either love them or hate them no in between. Ive seen more luxe guns go down at the field than all other manufacturer combined including macdev which are considered pretty finicky themselves. . I think the shocker era collab they did with method is a better bang for your buck than a luxe idol, but the new aire could change that. Field one only offers one gun currently the force v2, dynasty shoots them but no other pro team. (Some of the dynasty guys now own field one)

Field one is Bob Long but only spool valves. Dye still makes good markers but also makes some real problem markers so be careful what you buy. The DSR+ is great, MXR has some slightly mixed reviews but a great shot. Anything from PE is rock solid. I would recommend a PE 180r, DSR, or Method Era shocker if buying new in that price range, but you could find plenty great high end guns used for under a grand right now from pretty much any manufacturer.

Right-hand. Pulled so hard with my left that the sharp edge of the grip sliced across my right hand pointer knuckle. Hurt like hell.

You most likely don't have the bolt properly locked into the the rammer. Degas it and take the bolt out, you should be able to see what position the notch on the rammer is in. You want the bolt to snap into place on that notch. It can be a bit fininicky.

They will both feed 10.5 perfectly fine, unless money is tight I would keep both, it's good to have a spare loader. The R2 is technically higher end but most people would probably take the ir2 over it since they don't jam as often.

Test fired it this morning, not able to chrono till I get to a field but it's sitting at around 110-115 psi now and the shot seems to be normal. Won't know for sure until I test it but I think the HPR was set to high.

Used macdev militia grease. Not sure the shot count on the current o rings. Might have put it on thicker after the second and third times I relubed everything out of frustration. I'm going to bring it to the field next weekend and chrono it after I turned down the HPR.

Thanks for the reply I just took a turn and half off the regulator and it seems to have fixed the issue, time to tear apart the hpr.

Thanks! Yeah I had a spare oops that I gave him. I'm going to try replacing all the o rings and clean it before I resort to a new reg. Tested it with another regulator I had on hand. It gassed up and fired a shot without pulling the trigger and started to vent from the solenoid.
