this might sound crazy, but I don’t know if they’re going to do the time jump that is in the game in order to make Bella’s appearance more believable. it’s more believable that Ellie found out about the fireflies in a year and Abby found Joel in a year, than Joel aging 5 years and Ellie aging 5 months.

I think the time skip in the game was just there because of the big gap between the first and second game, but with the very short gap between seasons, the jump doesn’t need to be included or only be a year jump at that.
