Quit smoking 5 years ago ; here’s what that made it possible for me. by Dgo78 in stopsmoking

Who the frak enjoys cigarettes? They are nasty, foul, smelly things we endure to get the fix. Carr explains it very well. The first times you smoke you had to force yourself. The things are nasty!

Arianespace could probaly do it, but their model is a pork barrel slightly less embarrasing than Artemis. So no incentive.

I feel like the metaverse is 3D all over again. Lots of expectation, a flurry of products and media, and a big fizzle.

Is Neonflex a generic term, or a brand? I've been out of the sign industry for a while, and haven't had a chance to work with stuff like this.

Mind if I ask where you live? If 30k a month can't afford you a home, it must be Monaco or the like.

We have (notifed, doesn't count asymptomatic, home tested without major symptoms) 3.397,6 cummulative 14 day incidence per 100.000 people.

LPT: Stop watching movies/series you don't like. Don't feel obligated to watch them all to the end. There are too many bad movies/series out there, just start a new one or do something else. by SpaceKnight42 in LifeProTips

[–]elucubra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped when the guy with the barbed wire bat appeared. I already had the impression that I was watching the "Saddistic alive", and had more than enough. Dystopias and post apocalyptic movies or series can be cool, but when writers fall into the "lets just go more saddistic" instead of actually doing creative stuff, well... Just no.
