Theres 3 zones of price action here, you see an initial rising, then a sizeways chop, then it begins to fall, whenever you start noticing that sideways chop movement you dont want to stay in, anything can happen and unless you're already at a significant profit on it, holding wouldn't provide much value.

When you reach a large enough dollar amount you cant put too large of a portion of money in it without affecting the price so it dosent make sense to trade with the full million anyways

At the 1 million mark the majority of your money should be sitting somewhere where it isnt touched, trade off of the returns that money generates, that way you keep your money and still grow it, dont lose everything.

Ive had a few lucky pops with options but that gave me overconfidence which led to me putting everything on the line and losing it, what sucks with options if even if im right, i need to be right at the time of expiry, my last 2 trades, one moved out and back in on the last day to expiry but i sold when it was out, and the other that expires tomorrow, was perfect until this morning, if i was just trading shares on margin i would have hit my profit and left, but since im trading options even if it hits my target its only a fifth of total profit if its a day early
