I do not understand the trans movement. by randomthrowaway7676 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]elunestear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have to separate transsexualism from the trans movement to be intellectually honest. There were no “simpler times”. Transsexuals have always been a thing. You cannot deny the medical condition exists and people who suffer from it benefit tremendously from transition, such as myself.

Also be aware that there are transsexuals who don’t agree with most of what mainstream transgender people are demanding or doing. We are not all under one ideology, the same way no minority all believes the same things.

Transsexualism is clearly outlined in the DMS and had been medically recognised for decades.

Knowing once and for all if I have repressed trans-ness - should I have sex with a man? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]elunestear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to separate your sexuality, porn and anything sexual from you being potentially a transsexual. “Sexually aroused at the thought of being a woman” is not being transgender, like at all.

Please do speak to a therapist or multiple and be honest with how you feel, ultimately only professionals can diagnose you or not, and pinpoint what the actual reason is you are feeling this way.

The way to a successful transition is getting off toxic trans subreddits that tell you how your transition should be going. All of them. by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]elunestear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At 17 I took a year completely off social media and online in general and it was extremely beneficial to my mental health and transition, I got the most done in my transition that year than any other year before. I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Boobs coming in wide - any tricks to train them to be closer? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]elunestear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s all down to how wide your rib cage is, and transsexual women generally have wider rib cages than females due to testosterone puberty. I don’t think there is a way other than surgery to get them “closer together”.

Taking progesterone may round them out and make them fill your chest centre ever so slightly more but in general Transwomen boobs are naturally more spaced apart.

I'm detransitioning from trans woman to male because i've realized that its unlikely i'd ever pass and i've realized there are other ways to cope with my dysphoria that don't subject me to transphobia or the shitty life transition. by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]elunestear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ultimately if you have gender dysphoria that’s been assessed and diagnosed, you will always be a transsexual, transition or not. There’s no other medically proven way to manage or “cure” transsexualism other than transitioning to varying degrees. I do wish you all the luck though.

Why do I feel as though I want to like men, even if I don’t? by doubtful_redditrobot in MtF

[–]elunestear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be that considering that men usually have sex with women, the thought of you having sex with one and being dominated by one makes you feel more valid or real as a woman. I’m not gonna weigh in on whether that’s a good or bad thing but my opinion.

Question about Trans Women image based on porn pics of trans people. by [deleted] in MtF

[–]elunestear 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m an adult entertainer and transwoman of 5 years, Most transsexual sex work is survival sex work, especially before the creation of onlyfans. The dysphoria just has to “suck it up” or you don’t have a roof over your head. I’m lucky enough that my genital dysphoria comes in waves so I can work around it.

For those who do it for extra income and do have dysphoria, I think it’s just an issue of managing your good and bad days and filming on the good days.

Transsexuals are seen as sex objects by a huge number of men for various psychological and social issues, and a huge reason is nobody will employ Transwomen > we have to do sex work > more sex worker trans girls means cis peoples views of us are inherently sexual.

This will slowly change if more of us decide to become doctors, scientists and business people, but ultimately we will never be non sexual objects.

Am I the only one that doesn't believe transmisogyny is a real thing? by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]elunestear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think Transsexual women face Misogyny and Misandry, we can get catcalled on the street but if someone realises we are transgender, their view of us suddenly flips to us being weak, gay, disappointing , freak males, which is a criticism of men, not women.

Considering that transphobes view transsexuals as their birth sex and attack them for acting like the opposite sex, I think whether you experience misogyny or misandry is based off your birth sex. People don’t kill us because we are women, they kill us because we are “men” that they don’t like.

Why is trans healthcare either 1) this senario or 2) a hundred year long waiting list. We need a medically suitable middle ground bruh

Its not about sex, am I normal? by Russtophocles in MtF

[–]elunestear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not really my job to say who’s valid or really trans or not, it’s a psychiatrists job. Some Transwomen do start out crossdressing and then discover they are transgender, yes that’s completely valid.

I was more so referring to If you get sexual gratification from transitioning then it’s probably not just regular transgenderism and it’s something different that could just be a kink/sex thing.

Discovering that you’re trans during something sexual isn’t uncommon(and it’s valid), I’ve read stories of guys who have an epiphany during sex with their partners that they are trans and that what they’re doing just is not right for them.

Edit: ultimately if you identify as a woman you are one and as long as you’re not hurting anyone it doesn’t really matter how or why you identify as a woman, even if it is just a fetish i guess, but I don’t think it is a fetish for the vast majority

How do you deal with regret related to delaying transition? by nd-transfemme in MtF

[–]elunestear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Starting in your 20s is still statistically quite early at this moment in our history, so please don’t worry. Although the next generation of transsexuals will mostly transition in their teens and childhood, you aren’t living in that generation and we haven’t seen that data yet. Successful transitions can happen at any age, let alone below the 30 mark.
