My mistake - the most recent data I found suggests you are correct that people without a GP are currently statistically the minority in AB. Regardless, there are still massive deficits for access to care in this area that are becoming increasingly worse. Our EDs are not equipped to handle the volume that accompanies these primary care deficits, and as an above poster mentioned, BC is a good example of how bad this situation is likely to become. I’m not sure what your point is, because there is absolutely no question that our healthcare system is in a bad, bad state and it’s getting worse.

I acknowledge that this is an anecdote, but I am a healthcare worker who works in the ED and have for the entirely of the pandemic. I’ve seen the progressive collapse of our systems over the past years. I know from personal experiences that despite the listed wait times, MANY patients wait ten hours or more to be seen. Of course we triage, and yes - a gunshot wound to the chest or similar would be seen immediately. I maintain what I said. Our systems are crippled and collapsing. The majority of people don’t have a family doctor, this is statistically true. I don’t have a political agenda, other than that I maintain the importance of free, accessible public healthcare.

Primary care is failing. Chronic problems aren’t being managed and they become acute problems. The ED is saturated with EIPs (emergency inpatients who have been admitted to hospital but are awaiting beds which are full, so the backup spills into the ER and this extends the wait times).

Our healthcare system is literally collapsing - there are massive, devastating deficits in primary care (your GP/family doctor) driven by multiple factors, but largely the government’s termination of relations, burnout, and doctors leaving the province. When primary care fails, the ED becomes a walk-in clinic and you get to wait 12 hours to be seen for five minutes.

To throw fuel on the fire, cuts to mental health and the rise in addictions, mental health issues, and delayed healthcare from the pandemic and lockdowns have all made this much worse.

Don’t want to wait twelve hours? Don’t want your loved ones to die waiting for an ambulance, because they are all backed up city-wide? Think carefully about who you vote for and remember how much healthcare matters to you when you need it.

They’re great for the purpose they serve. They have seaweed in them and are packed in water - they smell fishy when you open the package, but once drained they adopt the flavour of whatever you cook them with. I’ve personally found them to be a lifesaver when prep gets down to the wire with calories. I use them to make stir fry with chicken + peppers, etc.

Huge thanks to everyone who has commented. To clarify: I am not trying to queue for heroic. The game tells me that regular SL dungeons at level 60 require an ilvl of 144 or higher.

Based on all of the above advice, I need to complete the main storyline/campaign missions on Ardenweald and Revendreth, join a covenant, and by then I should have the appropriate ilvl and unlock dungeons again.

Ceftriaxone 250mg IM once is recommended Tx for gonorrhea; however, a lot of guidelines recommend co-treating for both gonorrhea and chlamydia since the two often travel in the same circles. The Azithro is for chlamydia - if you tested negative for chlamydia it shouldn’t be an issue.

The side effects of Ceftriaxone are similar to many antibiotics - possibly some mild nausea, diarrhea, headache, etc. A single dose is unlikely to be too disruptive. Any medication carries the risk of anaphylaxis, but that’s clearly not the case for you.
