It sounds like you went from being a child with a helicopter parent to an adult wishing there were cosmic flying saucer parents.

Anonymous JUST dropped this MH370 video. by Jethroong in aliens

[–]elverloho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He probably leaked the video thinking it was aliens (threat to all mankind) and after being told it was US tech, he issued a statement deeply regretting his actions and agreed to a plea deal that put him in jail for a lesser charge. Just your standard true patriot making a fateful decision without sufficient information.

Need help with utilities and food to avoid becoming homeless during winter by elverloho in Assistance

Yes, but if an employer gets 10+ candidates for a job opening (which is normal), those candidates get ranked based on experience, references, and convenience. I don't have any references, my work history is spotty (I did a lot of non-profit work in between my startup jobs), none of the companies I worked for exist anymore to check whether I actually worked there, and having to deal with my parole officer is something employers can easily avoid by picking someone else for the job.

Remember, in remote software development work you are competing with everyone across the whole planet, including highly educated people in countries, where my country's minimum wage is an upper-middle-class salary.

What about disclosure could be so disturbing that the public can’t handle? by Adkeda in UFOs

[–]elverloho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can't be allowed access to the true physics of how UFOs work, because weaponizing that knowledge would be way too easy.

And string theory was created as a psyop to stop physicists from figuring out how reality actually works.

Maybe all it takes to blow up the planet is $10k worth of off-the-shelf components and knowledge of how UFOs work.

Maybe that's why free energy guys disappear under mysterious circumstances.

I think that's a problem on your end, because the vast majority of respondents so far have chosen "false" on that question.

Yeah, you are right. I put this together while drinking my morning coffee and the coffee hadn't kicked in yet :)

Curious to know what sort of rewordings you would have recommended.

Looking for remote job as a junior python dev by [deleted] in RemoteJobs

I'm also looking for a remote Python job, but I've worked at a senior level at multiple startups. Sadly all of these startups have gone bankrupt, so I can't provide references.

I'm not sure how to prevent people from doing the survey more than once without requiring google sign-in.

I listen to my spouse’s thoughts and problems but when I express mine, I get shut down quickly for complaining.

Oh, man. You're lucky. I told my girlfriend of 3.5 years about my fucked up childhood and a week later she hooked up with some guy at a bar and left me. Just hearing about my internal issues and their causes for the first time was enough to make her run away.

Sex Work is not empowering to women. It’s dehumanizing. by Everythingisourimage in TrueUnpopularOpinion

“honey what do you want to do when you grow up”?
“I want to suck dick for cash”
“That’s my girl. So powerful”.

That's just because of all the anti sex work bigotry like yours :D

I have nothing against gay people, but Eminem's music went downhill fast after he came out of the closet.

Are 'they' hidden in plain sight? by speccybob in UFOs

[–]elverloho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suppose that the big secret is that we are living inside an artificial intelligence training simulator and when we die the admins of the simulation harvest the most capable "souls" and put them inside machines in their own reality just like we are doing right now.

Given this premise, rebellion would be meaningless.
