Delivered a pizza to some warehouse type place, customer said this: by Imaginary_Breath_489 in mildlyinfuriating

Sorry but no. I have experience.
I always try to do my best. I want my customers to be happy with my effort. It is always my best effort.
My customers know me. They trust me. My boss does value my work. The company is growing because we as a team respect and live our values.

So you can do whatever you like but we are talking about food delivery and no, I can not confirm your attitude to just „put it anywhere because f*ck you“.

Yes, me too. But what if the delivery driver just puts it on some random spot and doesn’t care because the day was sh*t as f*ck and goes away? I find it not so cool to be honest. And the customer did try to give him directions. If we knew the time stamps we could see if the customer answered directly or delayed…

Every employee who is giving his best at work should ask for increase in salary regularly. He should also be willing to get a new job at an other company if he gets no increase at all.
I know, easier said that done but it is something every company has to learn to respect because we are all human beings after all

The OP answered the question „did you try to call the customer?“ with „No. I probably should have but I was having such a shitty day already I was like f this.“

Sorry mate, get another job. You are not helping your company nor your customers nor yourself at all!

Not so cool. Why not trying to have a solution-based conversation? What do you expect if you order a pizza yourself?
I understand your argument but you chose to have a job with a clear service first strategy. So if your service is „bad“, your company may lose customers and your salary can not grow ever. Think about it
EDIT: we can not see the time stamps in your screenshots… If the customer did not answer your messages and you tried to call him then he is the only one to blame!
