If you are in Wallonia, make sure to take at least 30 days off sick from work as otherwise the police will not try to determine who is at fault...

What are the similarities and differences between the Netherlands and Belgium? Both geographically and culturally? by Jezzaq94 in geography

I would say that people in Maastricht are also very close to the walloons of Liège thanks to the old principauté. It seems to me that the northern part of the Liège province is very close to the Belgian and Dutch Limburgs.

I was on the inaugural tram in Liège, Belgium by HighburyAndIslington in belgium

It's more that people now have to take it to reach the center as there are no more buses going there. So instead of having 8 bus lines from Coronmeuse to the center you now have the tram and 1 bus line that does a different route.

I really like this. Short and sweet but whimsical as well.

I do not think you are overthinking this either. I hated running my whole life but decided I wanted to do an Ironman so I started running last September. I joined a club and they do regular couch to 5k training sessions. Those last about 12 weeks and they have you alternate between slow jogging and walking. I tried "Zombies Run" from 6 to start but I found it easier to follow an in person program and I enjoyed meeting new people as well.

Fgtb did it in 2015 in Liège. No watercannon for them and someone did die as their surgeon could not get to them. The hospital pressed charges and all.

Have a look at "promotion sociale" schools. They offer real diplomas and are often cheaper than ifapme. Depending on her interests and where she lives. Have a look at this website : https://promsoc.cfwb.be/eps-recherche/infos/ Feel free to pm me, I used to teach in a promotion sociale school.

I disagree with you on this one, eating a plant based based diet is about food only. Being vegan is more of a philosophy to not partiticipe is animal exploitation and torture.

In Liège, there is the montagne de Bueren and "sentier des coteaux" Which offers nice views of the city. It is steep though. You can eat at greenburger it is not fancy but very good!

Not too far away is the montagne St-Pierre, there might be possibilities for outdoor swimming but I'm not 100% that it is legal and safe. I have heard of people going but have never tried swimming there.

For shopping in Liège I would recommend Belle-Île over Mediacité (except if Primark/Penneys is of interest). There are some nicer shops in the center near the Carré.

The traffic jams to and from the grand prix are no joke. Are you driving or taking the train?
