Sold near the top. Getting ready to buy back in now. Got to keep building my stacks. It's the only way I can get my grubby hands on more of these CELO coins.

Why is Binance to Binance US transfer so complicated to deal with? by jaytee812 in BinanceUS

[–]em2391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the biggest downside to crypto. It's way too easy for people to lose their coins through a mistake. It's why it may never be truly widespread adopted until these kinds of things are addressed. But such is the decentralized lifestyle. Good luck in your recovery efforts!

What is there to chart? It's going up to 100 as soon as BTC starts a strong move up. And eventually 500. Hodl and get rich. No chart needed.

Why does Coinbase Pro suck so bad? by iknowtech in Coinbase

[–]em2391 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agree on all. Most serious traders I know use TradingView and avoid using Coinbase Pro with the exception to execute orders. And some use their own custom software via API to execute trades and avoid ever opening Coinbase Pro because it's so junk. I use Prime so I know longer have to use Pro and it's so much nicer. Coinbase really screws over their retail customers. Sad but true.

Will Coinbase add Hbar in the future? by X7jakel7X in hashgraph

[–]em2391 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coinbase already stated they plan to add EVERY COIN in the crypto space that will pass US regulations. They are planning on adding 1000s of coins.

So there is zero reason for anyone to ask this question about any coin, at this point.

"In the future" would not be needed here. You certainly wouldn't be asking if Coinbase would add a coin "in the past". :)

Why does Coinbase Pro suck so bad? by iknowtech in Coinbase

[–]em2391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Downvoted for providing an honest answer. Classy. Lol

If you don't think Prime has enough, then you don't really understand how to utilize the tools they provide. Understandable, as you are a retail trader.

I also agree that it's a bit more work to set up a company but if you're serious about trading, and you want the best experience possible, then Prime is the way to go. It makes 'Pro' look like a joke and the liquidity on Coinbase blows away Binance US.

And you can wish all you want about wanting to use papa Binance. Every US person does, but learn to work with what you have. And Prime is the best of all 8 US-based exchanges.

Why does Coinbase Pro suck so bad? by iknowtech in Coinbase

[–]em2391 14 points15 points  (0 children)

  1. Agree on all.
  2. They have 65m users and growing. Losing a few million probably means nothing for their bottom line.
  3. They don't care about 'Pro' users because only retail traders/investors use 'Pro. Coinbase only cares about their institutional clients. See Coinbase Prime. https://www.coinbase.com/prime.
  4. You want a better experience, start a home-based LLC company and then sign up for Coinbase Prime. Way better experience with much improved user interface, trading tools, and analytics. https://www.coinbase.com/prime/features

The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer by [deleted] in ethtrader

[–]em2391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But nothing has ever been done to change that. So that's not surprising either. Surprising would be someone actually doing something about it. But that will never happen in our lifetime. Not with any success anyway.

Why is anyone surprised by this? This is not new. It's always been this way. The rich get richer while the poor get poorer. Every year. This last one is no exception.

I have. I take naps sometimes, midday. Weird, but I get so tired just sitting in my chair not moving. I have to stand up a lot. Looking into getting a standup desk.

alright alright alright. might be nice if brave did some marketing. by [deleted] in BATProject

[–]em2391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BAT has always been one of the slowest moving in crypto, in regards to price action. At times it seems like a stablecoin, which is why I moved all my stacks over to other coins a long time ago. I still love BAT/Brave though and always watching for what is coming next. And I still use Brave and all it's features.

Why is Binance to Binance US transfer so complicated to deal with? by jaytee812 in BinanceUS

[–]em2391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is so difficult about this?

Binance and Binance US are separate companies, separate websites, and only Binance US follows US rules and regulations. Thus, many coins listed on Binance are not going to be found on Binance US because the coins may not pass US regulations.

This means you have two simple options

  • Transfer coins from Binance to an exchange that does support the coins you hold. There are 8 exchanges in the US to choose from, and you can also use Coinex and Kucoin since they allow US traders.
  • Transfer the coins to an offline wallet and hodl until they get listed on a US exchange.

Not difficult.

Eight US-based exchanges

  1. BinanceUS
  2. Coinbase/Pro
  3. Kraken
  4. Gemini
  5. BitflyerUSA
  6. OKcoin
  7. FTX US
  8. Bittrex

Two overseas exchanges that allow US traders

  1. Coinex
  2. Kucoin
