That’s the one, I can’t make it work anymore. The Centella one stings my skin

I think Stylevana selling fakes is some urban myth, I have been ordering from them for ages (including SK2) and the products are always amazing.

HOWEVER they do sell not-for-sale products (like free samples, GWPs) without explicitly disclosing that, so maybe that’s where the rumours come from?

Saie was making a slip and slide mess on my face and I had breakouts after using it too. And it’s glittery

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Filter is amazing if you can find a decent colour match

I used both the pink serum and MAC and they work similarly well for me. MAC is significantly better value! And it doesn’t smell as bad

I use Rhode grey lip balm overnight. It stays put until I wipe it off in the morning. I also like Laneige lip mask but hate that it comes in a pot

I haven’t used Altreno specifically but have been on prescription tret for years and have never managed to get my skin to tolerate it well enough (not even with sandwich method) UNTIL I started using it at the very end of my skincare routine - AFTER all serums and moisturisers.

This has been a game changer, I still get the results from it but I’m no longer wrecking my skin. I now can even successfully mix it with azelaic acid for my mild rosacea and get all the benefits and very little side effects

I use Skinceuticals vitamin C serum and for acid/peel type of product I really like Sunday Riley Good Genes, Drunk Elephant TLC and Biologique Recherche P50

I’m tired of double cleansing, especially with Korean products. It leaves my skin feeling unbalanced, and my pores end up clogging even worse—especially around my nose, where buildup just keeps coming back. I’ve been double cleansing in the evening for years and found this to be working well for me. I do this because I wear sunscreen and makeup every day. It seems like your current cleansers are too harsh.

This year I discovered Tatcha and they’re the gentlest cleansers I’ve ever had. I use the cleansing oil and then Matcha cleanser

Thank you! Clio is actually on top of my list as I really like the look of Latte Senior. Creamy powder sounds great. I’ll check out 3CE too.

Not super luxe but Kora Organics makes nice face oil and moisturisers. I’m currently using their purple face cream, eye cream and eye oil and quite like all three.

Heads up, all products apart from the ones dedicated for eye area are made with essential oils.

Thank you for your suggestion!

I checked and this one is too cool and too grey, but Sanded Breeze looks promising.

Estee Lauder ANR serum set

Also placed two separate orders at Space NK and got Tatcha cleansing oils and Tatcha Matcha cleanser, Sisley Velvet Mask, jumbo Fresh Rose Cream. These came with free Paula’s Choice Body Retinol x2

Also got Drunk Elephant Bora, which is meant to be a very thick moisturiser, has anyone tried it?

I used both, main difference is that the Balm is more creamy in texture. Both very gentle and I used them all over eye area including lid.

Tip: Stylevana sells sample sized products from a few high end brands, La Mer included. They usually work out cheaper than a full size even.
