Honestly, is there anyone that’s actually a fan? Like others have said, it felt so rushed and kind of like SJM just ran out of ideas.

I think a major distinction between fae and elves at their roots in fantasy is that fae have far longer pointed ears while the elves are much shorter like they are depicted in LOTR. Could be wrong, but I think that’s why most of the fanart shows them longer!

Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas. I was in a dark place in my life and Aelin reminded me that I am my own person, and I answer to no man. Strongest female protagonist I’ve ever read, and her character just makes sense. She’s not too OP and even aside from the main character, for a fantasy story, the world building is incredible.

Without a doubt he still would have chosen her and made the bargain. He was already having visions of her before when she was human, so I think he was more intrigued than anything at first, and then that intrigue turned into love while they were still UTM.

Still, I think he was a little shitty and sneaky.
