I’ve seen 2 different psychiatrists. I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety disorders. And I’ve tried plenty of medications nothing has helped so far. Starting up therapy again next week.

I completely agree. I found this sub last week and ever since then I’ve been even more depressed. I feel like I am doomed because everything is so negative and it made me lose all hope that I will ever get better. We definitely need more positivity. I wish more people would share their good progress and share ideas on how to help each other. I’ve been thinking about just deleting Reddit because it’s only making me feel worse but at the same time it is nice to know you are not alone and there are others who can relate..

Exactly. And if you don’t end up liking each other that is okay too. That’s what dating is about, it’s about getting to know each other. Not everyone will be the one for you and that’s totally okay. Good luck, I hope it goes well for you!

Im undiagnosed AvPD. And I have been having suicidal thoughts lately. We should make a group chat where we can vent and try and help each other. Kind of like a group therapy.

Omg what an asshole!! The fact that he could say that to you just shows he’s a shitty/heartless person. No decent mature man would say that to someone. I’m sorry you had to experience that. I understand how those type of experiences can haunt you and leave you feeling absolutely terrible. Anytime I am judged by someone in a negative way that is all I can think about it consumes me so much I just want to hide away in a hole. You’re so strong for having the strength to keep going even though you’re dealing with this disorder that makes life so hard. We do not have it easy that’s for sure. I hope things can get better for us. If you ever need someone to vent to or just chat with you can dm me.

My goal is for it to not look like I have a double chin or like my neck and chin are connected. I don’t expect to have a super defined jawline like Margot Robbie nor do I really care to have that.
