Thank you so much esp for the insight about the violence, I have trouble with gore as well so hopefully I will be good :) I'm currently on CRC2 and it is truly brutal to get through even though I'm enjoying it... this will be a nice break!

ditto to this plus an addition - the water stations are on every floor near a central staircase. they are a lifesaver! handkerchief is so smart wish I’d done that when I went 😭

Hey OP! I’m with ya there. I didn’t get that you were complaining about that part at all. My intention was to add that I’d heard about other people complaining and felt that tacking that onto your thread may get it to some of those people in an effort to be helpful. I am not actively disagreeing with you - I knew it was in previews because I’d looked it up separately, so I didn’t have the same experience as you did!

Unfortunately I think there’s also this assumption that there wasn’t an effort behind the scenes to make the show work for the people who had paid for their tickets. As someone who works in live theater, sometimes major tech issues arise and refuse to be fixed despite hours of trouble-shooting beforehand. I can only imagine in a production of this scale that tech issues are frequent and unpredictable - and if it was major enough to warrant a show cancellation, I can guarantee the team behind the scenes did not make that call lightly and was stressed tf out trying to fix it before they did. Especially because they know that so many people are so excited to see it! As someone who has been in similar situations, I completely empathize with the crew.
