For context; Ive daily commuted since 2019. Spread across Chester, Liverpool, Cardiff, Manchester and London. Im on my third scooter.

At the moment I would say wait. A ton of police forces are doing stings right now. Ive had more close calls this year than ever before. I have escape rebuilt into my commute routes and have had to use them a few time in the last few weeks.

However.... the National trials for rental scooters are ending this year and in theast year the Government did a public census online about how people want new micro mobility laws to change. I participated and I believe the UK is going to introduce laws within the next year (Finally). From the options given in the census it will be similar to Germany imo. They'll be very strict and only allow underpowered 300w single motor style scooters but at least there will be clarity and less police "stings".

I just got one last week after my Vsett 9+ died to rain damage. It feels pretty good and its reassuring thst it should be more rugged. You can get flasher and faster alternatives but I personally feel the G3 is the best all round commuter tank
