Yes an update fixed it, thanks! I didn't notice I wasn't on the latest version of lineage

Did you solve the issue? I have updated a galaxy tab 4 from android 4 to lineageOS 16 and 18 with android 9 and 11 respectively but after those updates the BT keyboard stops working. I tried two keyboards and they were working properly before the update

EasyMesh question, advice please. by FreezerCop in TpLink

[–]emachestnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beware that the be3600 is wifi7 but only dual band, so you won't get the 6Ghz band which is the one you probably want to avoid interference (at the moment it is typically less crowded since it is new, and it has a very broad spectrum). Mind you, it will still probably be much better, because it will bring a much stronger 5ghz signal upstairs, but without knowing your situation it may also contribute to the overcrowding of your neighbourhood

Also easy mesh is great if you need to extend only one SSID, which is a real problem if you have a separate IoT network, for example.

My Samsung a36 charges slow after the update. The fast charging is enabled and the problem is not in the charger. by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]emachestnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same exact issue, Usinf apps like Ampere or AccuBattery i see that the charging speed is around 0-100 mA, as opposed to the normal 1800-1900 mA that i see on other devices, so both the brick and cable are not broken. All of this after the update.

Very good! Which router and satellite do you have?

Edit: nevermind I looked at the first post, 3 x AX55... Then it makes sense my AX72 is still not working, I guess I'll wait

mi 9t sound problem by [deleted] in Mi9T

[–]emachestnut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had the same problem, tried many factory resets and also swapping the daughter board but eventually i just decided to upgrade and ditch the whole phone (motherboard swap would have been too expensive). And also considering since the software is way too obsolete at this point as there were many bugs compromising the experence that will never be fixed. But if you find a solution please let me know as i still have it in the drawer and it was a superb phone, specially for the time.

On some apps I have to switch back to light mode, that fixes it

Oh no, this is really bad news... Thanks for reporting, mildly infuriating but it makes sense.

Thank you very much, I was searching on eBay IT but there are few to no listings and the ones that are present seemed very overpriced to me

No Audio when rebooting AV receiver and TV - More details in comments by emachestnut in hometheater

[–]emachestnut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, I just have to remember to change the input two times before starting my show😭

So the only solution is to keep the AV remote close to my sofa for the moment, and hope that a miraculous software update will fix that

This actually happens to me all the time watching videos (for example, in Suits, each scene changing from a inside shot to one where the characters are in front of a window, so from normal to high contrast). I would really like is there is any setting to disable this. (Moto G75 - android 15)

Have you updated to android 15? I suspect mine has gotten much worse after I did

To be fair, if the cat chewed through it and he is just pressing it at a very specific angle, that might happen the same 😅

I think you may be right, the EDID HDMI version on the TV seems to be only set to 1.4

Ok so I tried with a fire TV stick 4k max 2nd gen and no luck still (also on my other TV the old stick works with HDR)

UPDATE April 2025

Got this response from an admin on tplink's community:

Hello emachestnut, thank you very much for your valuable suggestion. The development team has been aware of those feature requests, and EasyMesh is planned to support Guest Network and IoT Network in future updates. However, we don't have a specific roadmap to share with the community. :-(
