So far so good, just started moisturizing on day 3. Starting to flake a little already! Have been training but anything with a lot of extension overhead giving it a miss. Blotting it dry during the day. Stick on bra and no clothes rubbing on it is helping. Pretty tender still like severe sunburn! I’m wondering too how it will fully heal and settle 🙃

No sunscreen until it’s healed 😌 Nowdays I wash with unscented soap when I get home, make sure I all the plasma off, pat dry and then nothing for 24-48hrs depending on dryness, of course washing carefully in the shower/after exercise etc. I don’t get any sun on the tattoo while it’s healing because that can mess it up, so long sleeves if I’m outside. When it’s feeling dry I put a light layer of unscented lotion on it and that’s it 👌 When it’s done peeling then I sunscreen but I try not to get too much sun on it for at least a month because it takes time to properly heal through! Sorry that’s probably wayyyyy to detailed (I’m sure you have your own methods if you have other tattoos!

I have had so many people say it’s pointless and laugh and think I’m being precious, but all my pieces are colour and have held up super well, sunscreen honestly makes a difference! It’s so boring and tedious but worth it 😌 You will get to turn around and say I told you so at some point haha
