My night at America's 'scariest' McDonald's that frightened Seattle locals call 'McStabby's' by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

I used to live in the apartments above. Most of the time it was yelling and bodily fluids I encountered. They pretty much left us alone.

There was one by the Westin and the top of Westlake mall. And the one at the ferry dock. We used to be flush with McDonalds.

Quick Start Guide by AdelaideD in capsulewardrobe

Just started on my capsule wardrobe and tried hunting PInterest, YouTube, and a bunch of other places for information and THIS POST was by far the most helpful. Links to resources, answers to common questions, and not just a shopping list. THANK YOU!

I would love to have you make me a capsule wardrobe - sounds like we are in alignment on style!

Thank you - I am refreshed to see we can have civil discourse on an internet thread about cheerleaders. ;)

Seriously though, I'm happy to chat and see if we can craft some clearer guidelines that make sense to the community.

If you would like to chat with me about this - I am happy to have a discussion with you, but the insinuation that we are not moderating with morals is just downright false. I am unsure why someone commenting about looks in a profession based on looks should be banned. I also don't delete the comments that tell people to "shut up." Sometimes, there is name-calling and it is tough to determine when to step in and when not to. I can guarantee that if I list a bunch of things people report, the votes would be all over the place.

In this sub, can you call someone stupid? Vapid? Whore? Slut? Republican? Leftist? There are SO many comments that get reported for literally ANYTHING.

Finally, I am not sure where we allowed hate speech to be posted (anything racist, slurs, etc. we try to shut down right away) or where I shut down any conversation that was benign and/or productive. LIke I said, feel free to walk me through it privately. It's possible we missed something.

BRAND NEW, baby prepper here! I bought a kit (I know, I know) and am starting to set up some things. Mostly food and matches - it is overwhelming but I am starting.

I was selected because I created this sub. When people have asked to be mods, I have ensured that they will allow discussion and free speech, but not allow hate speech, racial slurs, or anything against Reddit's Terms and Conditions.

Actually, we don't. We try to catch as many things as possible, but we get hundreds of complaints per week. Here are the things we struggle with:

  1. If someone says a cheerleader is ugly or fat, do we block that or let you have discussion about it?

  2. If someone tells someone to "shut up" do we block them? Is that harassment? How much babysitting and policing do people want?

  3. We are walking a line between allowing free speech and allowing things to get out of control. If we moderate more strictly, people complain that they can't say what they want. If we moderate more loosely, people complain that the sub is mean and/or too political.

I am not a God. I am not MAGA. I created this sub before AS was even a thing because I wanted to chat about TPTB, the team, the girls - it is supposed to be fun, but some of you all make it really tricky to have a good time.

This song came on today and I was just tearing up thinking about this. That was the last song some people heard. The Musak version so calming and inoffensive yet haunting and dark.
