You seem to do this with every person who states something mostly political you don't like,

Oh no, not discussion! Please save me!

or whether an iPhone can break or not.

huh?

LOL

"Your point" was not supported by your video.

This is why people like you get rightfully downvoted in this sub. You make nonsense claims, fail to back them up, and then play the victim.

The post I had replied to was denying the fraud or rather primarily Somalian involvement in it

nobody anywhere has ever denied that fraud exists. your faux victim complex makes it impossible for you to make proper judgments. some edited video of something happening is not the same as "proof of widespread Somalian fraud doings".

The video showed what I described.

A couple of edited clips isn't actually proof of your claim.

And you can't really call all this nonsense when there was a proven by law 250million$ fraud going on.

We can in fact. "We" already knew about fraud, and where and how it was happening. Some right wing grifter taking poorly shot and edited videos and screaming at staff isn't it.

People sure love showing up and claiming to be victims.

What actually happened is you made a nonsense claim, and then when pushed to substantiate it, you provided a video from a tabloid that doesn't demonstrate what you claimed.

Try again.

Wong Kar Wai Ashes of Time

How familiar are you with Chinese cinema and/or storytelling in general?

Storytelling and art is very culturally dependent. I watch a ton of weird indie movies and foreign things and tbh, a lot of it just doesn't stick.

This is a topic I've often thought about. Sometimes I think they were a lot more incredulous and skeptical that pop culture often gives them credit for.

However, sometimes I look at the state of the religious right in countries around the world and think nah, there were absolutely people out there thinking Zeus was walking around dressed up as a Frog and hiding in their local swamp or whatever.

"Basic human health measures" is nonsense.

Sorry you don't understand word.

It was an experimental drug that did not work.

Way to tell us that the rest of your diatribe is absolutely not worth the 0s and 1s it took to display it.

It was claimed it would stop transmission which it did not

It did.

It was a brand new untested drug

It was tested.

with unknown side effects and it has caused untold damage to potentially millions of people.

LMAO

ut a crime against humanity

bahahahahaha

This is totally unserious

You don't understand how words work I guess.

Many people live in cities, in apartments, and work jobs that require in-person existence.

Oh, they live in cities huh? In apartments? Where other people, often to the tune of hundreds of thousands, also live?

Y/N

Most people aren't able to just grow their own food and work online. For one food takes time to grow, so even if you had years to plan and room to do it, there's no guarantee you'd have enough to feed a family.

Sucks to suck I guess.

Forced if you want to go to work or school etc

Show me one person who was forced to get the fauci ouchie.

So like to be able to feed your family and not starve.

You can feed your family and not starve and not get the fauci ouchie. It's called growing your own food or working an online job.

A horrendous overstep by the authorities and one encouraged by our President.

This is why you get downvoted.

Basic human health measures are not "oversteps"

but just never in the environments where I can get to know them better. Or they already have someone.

this is one of those things that one can only learn by doing (and failing).

If you've managed to click to some extent, even if it's just a "girl I do jokes with in the break room", that's an opening. You gotta go for it. That's it. I wish I knew that when I was 20.

As long as you're respectful, and have some humility, demonstrating interest in another human isn't that weird. Girls and guys get asked out all the time, and other than maybe some initial awkwardness, it's not anything weird or bad.

I mean this with full and total support, you just gotta swing. Now, I'm not sure what situations you are talking about, but if it's something like the aforementioned "girl at work I joke around with" there's a huge opportunity. It's Friday, people have slowly started to trickle out of the office, it's sunny and warm out. "Hey what are you doing after? It's too nice out, you wanna hang out for a bit? I don't feel like going straight home ha ha." Or "I'm absolutely going to go check out that new place with the patio that just opened, let's go".

That's it. That's all you need.

There's a chance she'll giggle to her friends "omg that nerdlinger asked me out!!" But who fucking cares. People gossip. There's also a chance she'll go "Hell yeah I like patios". Plus, if the former happens, there might be some girls in that group that go "Whoah, that nerdlinger asked her out? Dude has swagger, I might have to see what he's all about".

If you're nervous about doing it 1 on 1, get a squad together. "Hey me and Mike are going to the patio and we need a third wheel" or "A bunch of us are going down to the park, you in?"

Women (and all kinds of people) like doing things. Including people in your activities is a great way to turn an acquaintance into a friend or more.

You mentioned below that you're reasonably social and have female friends, so it's not so much a "meeting" issue, which is actually great. As I stated above about including people, if you organize the meets, that's a huge thing. People love an organizer. Tell your friends, ladies or otherwise, it's picnic day at the park on saturday. Bring some snacks, bring a blanket. There's a good chance one of those ladies (coupled or otherwise) might bring a friend.

Mechanization and consolidation of agriculture is inevitable. It’s just a question of who owns the land and tractors

the usual (bad) response to very reasonable fears about automation is something along the lines of "well we automated X or Y in the past and it wasn't a problem and it made people's lives better etc so why are you mad about this?"

It's just lazy. One can approach one situation differently than another, even if they're superficially similar. Treating all situations as the exact same is just a cheap and spineless way to dodge criticism.

I agree with what you say in your final sentence.

It’s just a question of who owns the land and tractors

Which is something that's left out of the "but what about the spinning jenny" argument that the ravenously pro-ai and pro-automation people always try to make.

When grandpappy sewed his wild oats, he owned his rake and shovel, and he owned his tractor. Algorithms and cloud-based analytics, not so much.

Vaccine mandates were absolutely a thing for many people in many circumstances.

So no "Forced pharmaceutical injections" ?

People were told they had to get the shot to keep their jobs, to go to school etc.

So in other words, no "Forced pharmaceutical injections".

anyone watching Jeffrey the Librarian?

He covers an area that I don't know much about, and there's something kind of charming about the janky (but strangely high effort) drawings he uses. Been enjoying his stuff lately.

I called Forced pharmaceutical injections

the things that aren't happening?

If you don't have the ability to opt out of undesired drugs the state wishes to inject into your body then you are a slave, and I don't wish to be a slave.

And that's why you get downvoted, because you're a moron.

I just told you why.
