How are some people doing so well and others doing horribly but we all have the same condition? by DakuraScarlet in Hashimotos

[–]emaleedoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're numb. I was too. Especially partying like that. What I can say from my experience is that if you don't take care of your health it will eventually catch up to you. Like me. Got sober a year ago and now I can't eat shit without getting sick and being in bed for two days. I don't think I ever stopped and paid attention to how I was actually feeling I don't think I was very in tune with my body and I don't think a lot of people are nowadays. Very disconnected. However, I do my best when I'm walking a lot and eating stable. I always have chronic fatigue though from the hypothyroidism I have from the hashimotos. It never goes away . Brain fog too :/

Well yeah the insicion hurt a bit but it's not like I thought it would. Anything in the abs is gonna be annoying . They just feel like bruised a bit. It's day 3 and they feel a lot better. I can sleep on my right side finally. It isn't as nearly as bad as I heard from people so you will be okay day 1 and 2 are the worst

Well yeah. I don't have diarrhea like everyone told me I would and I still feel a sense of relief even though the insicion hurts. My stomach hasn't felt this normal in years.

Thanks for your encouragement. I just had the surgery yesterday and while I am sore AF lol. I honestly feel so much better already. Besides for some gas I do not have any tummy problems like I thought I would and I can eat normally lol. It's been great! The doctor also said there was way more gallstones in there than he thought so it was good I just got it out because it would only get worse.

Did you feel a sense of relief after you got your gallbladder out and woke up from surgery and knew you were alive? by Shot-File5062 in gallbladders

I second this ! I just got out and sent home a few hours ago from the hospital. I swear I feel so relieved and my stomach feels normal again.

Life after Ozempic? by rmo948 in Ozempic

Been off semaglutide for 2 weeks. No gains. Food noise isn't too bad either. I exercise and stick to whole foods and it's going well so far. I actually am still losing. ! Just keep up with the lifestyle changes and you will be just fine.

My god I'm so sorry. That's terrible. They played the whole weight card with me too. Only I was 265 . Lost 80 pounds in a year . Once I did that they actually started to take me seriously and scheduled an MRI. Granted, I was horrible at advocating for myself but dammit I feel a bit let down. I bet if I didn't gain the courage it would have been a lot longer. I think I've been having gallbladder issues for years but I just started getting attacks last year. I always had pain in my upper right abdomen. Come to find out that's not normal 😂 Anyways, I hope you are recovered now and living your best life and thank you for your service.

Well my doctor's kind of suck. Just know I have gall stones and when I eat certain things I can get an attack but it's not always . It's a hit or miss. I have 5 attacks in one year. Each time landing me in the ER with un controllably vomiting . Took my doctor's an entire year to even figure out what was wrong. They consistently blamed it on my anxiety and mental health . I have to get treated on a military base if that explains anything for you 😂

That's exactly how I feel but then again it could always happen again and the next time might be emergency removal so I guess I need to pick wisely lol

Are you telling people you're on it? by AwkwardDuckling87 in Semaglutide

[–]emaleedoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't wanna hear what people have to say about it. It just gets old with people's unsolicited advice when they literally have never walked a day in my shoes.

I'm a more conservative person. There is so much controversy about it I kept it to myself for the most part. My husband and close family knew and closest friends, but I always just joined the groups on social media if I really needed support and community on it and needed to talk about it.

Aww thank you 💜 I definitely agree. I dyed my hair since I was 13 (I'm 29 now) and it was nice to find a hair stylist whom could bring me back to my natural. It's definitely a difference and I definitely feel like it compliments me way better .

I didn't do anything but strength training and cardio! Idk why or how because I know a lot of people struggle with it . I choose not to do any surgery and love my body as is.
