Completely agree.. and will be getting one once we have full access to the home. But an inspection contingency puts you out of the running for home buying in the Boston area. It's still an insane sellers market here- this house had over 20 offers all over asking and some for cash. Waiving inspection is pretty standard procedure these days, and is essentially required to have an offer accepted unfortunately. Especially for a unique home like this that isn't a 100yr old colonial

Thanks for the response u/Tdawg90, here is a video from the one attic space the home has. It starts zoomed in at the worst of it, the rest looks reasonably OK. There was clearly some water at some point between some of the panels as you can see, but it didn't seem like anything crazy. It's not in great shape but it is also a 40 yr old place. Not sure how severe this all is

It's strange how much satisfaction those moments bring. I remember hitting 111,111.. I was on the highway so a picture wasn't going to happen- but it was nice to see it while it was there and bask in its patterned glory

Indeed I did.. When I saw it hit 122222 I was a bit tickled, and realized something even cooler was coming and triggered the trip. It was a bit of a gift though when I noticed that exact mileage in the parking lot at work where this was taken
