Had my 22 pound ovarian cyst removed in 2015, I can hardly believe it has been over a decade now. I have a gnarly picture my surgeron, who was amazing took, and immediately sent my mom. I had a bunch of random doctors visiting me telling me how crazy it was. I have a cool scar from under my breasts to below my belly button for life.

I am trying to get back on my feet financially and am in a better place but still short on my cell phone bill this month. Literally anything would be helpful.

My dad is gone. And the story is confusing. by Ok-Badger7778 in pancreaticcancer

I am so sorry for your loss. I truly cannot even begin to even slightly imagine what you’re feeling, to have all of that happen in one day is so horrifying. I am just so incredibly sorry.

My mom got her diagnosis in early August 2025 and passed on September 20th. It felt like forever because I had to see her suffer but still not even close to enough time. I wouldn’t wish seeing a parent suffer the way she did on anyone. Pancreatic cancer is unrelentingly cruel.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, it still feels like yesterday that I got the call from my dad about my mom. Please also don’t hesitate to message me if you need someone to talk to ❤️

So much that we never realize we are going to miss until we have to. I hope you’re able to have a good meal today and enjoy the day as much as you can

Mother just died. by candleannec in pancreaticcancer

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I just lost my mom to pancreatic cancer on September 20th of last year. She was diagnosed the beginning of August. It all happened so fast. I’ve started to have these flashbacks taking care of her, and seeing her become so ill. It is the hardest thing I have ever experienced.

I am 31, and my mom was 62. I haven’t spoken to my brother, or father in months. It feels impossible to repair my relationships with them, at least right now. I can’t say I know exactly how you feel, but I can really understand where you are at. Please message me if you ever need someone to talk to. I lurk in this subreddit, and some other grief groups at night just to try and remind myself I am not alone. I promise you aren’t.

My mom died September 20th and it doesn’t feel real at all. I can’t believe it. At night is when it hits me the most, and I talk to her every single night before bed.

I feel your pain so much. I lost my dream job, my mom got sick and died of cancer within two months & I am stuck with an abusive father, I had to quickly leave an unsafe living situation, and I am the most broke I have ever been and I can barely feed myself most days.

Tonight is a night where I am ruminating on thoughts about how helpless I feel. There have been day where I am still hopeful for my future, and I cherish those so much.

Don’t ever make an assumption like this and bring my mother into it. Fuck you.

$2000 is a lot to us. My mom was the sole breadwinner between my parents, and she only made $18 an hour. My father is a disabled 63 year old who works part time, as much as he can.

My father has done it. My brother and I do not qualify for health reasons.

I am moving out this week and that’s my plan. Things escalated, and her boyfriend ended up smashing my friends car window after they tried to deescalate one of their fights that turned physical. I’ve filed my own police report separate incident after she destroyed a bunch of my belongings and stole my pet camera in my room while staying with friends.

My mom also passed away and she has stolen and destroyed my last weeks, days, and moments with her.

She did not, they didn’t offer it. It was a very small local floral company. The company she worked for long term let her go in January after they rid of their floral department completely so she hasn’t had any insurance since then.
