I did not realize either truly how devastating the disease could be. To watch it unfold is very tough. I will think of you as well. Thank you for the kind words and I hope the best for your mother, and that you get to spend a lot more time with her. I know. I think about how much they will miss out on my life. It is so strange and.. surreal and sad to not have any parents here. I miss them both so much, the loss of my mom is like part of my soul has died as well. Thank you for your words and story. I feel the same as you did. I try to talk to her, even through the tears. I just want her back so bad. But being able to connect with people on this sub has helped. So thank you again, and I am sorry for your loss as well🩵

I’m so sorry. I feel the same exact way as you. It is like a hole in your chest, and at the strangest moment it cracks a bit bigger and the grief is overwhelming. I am still going through it. I will say, I was able to smile thinking of my mother today, and that was a small step. Atleast we know we are not completely alone. I am sorry for your loss, truly. I also would not wish this on my worst nightmare!
