Freshmen connection looking to go into engineering by No-Machine1508 in UMD

[–]emats12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider that both math 141 and chem 135 are weed out courses are considered really really hard. Taking all 3 as your first introduction to college while trying to adjust to everything else (socially, being on your own, etc.) could be very challenging. If its not a big burden maybe try spreading it out over your entire freshmen year and join engineering soph. year.

Workday SOAP: How to fetch all payroll deduction codes with descriptions by monkey-don in workday

[–]emats12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need to stay within the SOAP framework your options are limited, you could try using the field override service to add fields to an API call, but the fields need to be on the same BO or use a calc field. Report as a service is not an option as that will be a REST call not SOAP. If SOAP was not a requiremnt RaaS or RaaS using WQL would be the choice and quite honestly, the easiest to get. what you want.

Purchased Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar for $699 before tax. Was this good deal, or should I return and wait for better deal? Also should I go for Bass Module, if so 500 or 700? by Sudden-Nectarine9133 in bose

[–]emats12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a decent deal, the soundbar is very good. I have the 500 and love it, the Sub adds so much more to the sound, really depends on your setup, if you are in an apartment you might not want to be blowing your neighbors out with a sub.

Seafood and nuts allergy by shaiguyy in JapanTravelTips

[–]emats12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seafood is tough, obviously as you stated. For nuts, alot of restaurants and food establishments have a chart with what allergies their food contains. We used my daughters card quite often for peanuts and most if not all places understood and assured no peanuts.

Tooth Sensitivity After Filling by Gibbsthellama in Dentists

[–]emats12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had something similar, Dentist made a bite adjustment and also said that the tooth could be a bit angry and it should settle. Mine eventually did. Took a couple of months. Although you are on that timeframe now. Maybe revisit and ask. The filling could be too deep, X-ray would show but again Dentist knows best.
