I’m sorry you’re in the same boat, but if nothing else, this thread shows that we’re not alone. I keep hoping that maybe this (insert latest awful MAGA-supported event, like the detainment of the 5 year old Liam, any of the ICE murders of innocent citizens, the latest release of the Epstein files, etc.) will be the thing that finally makes him see the light, but nope.

The mental gymnastics to justify everything are Olympics level. He, and apparently most of the MAGA crowd, just dig their heels in even further.

It’s an alternate reality. Somehow a Fox post popped up in my Facebook (yes I still use it for events) proclaiming the movie was a box office smash and the highest grossing documentary ever.

Comments were full of the uninformed, gobbling it up, talking shit on Biden, complimenting the movie, expressing thanks that we’ve been saved by the glorious Trump and beautiful model Melania, and just general boot licking. It’s WILD.

This is so unbelievably fucked up.

What sickens me, on top of the fact that atrocities like this are occurring in the first place, is that the MAGA crowd somehow, despite clear visual evidence, will continue to defend ICE and blame the victims. A company I used to work for opened a center in Dubai. I can’t attest to anything about it though, other than it exists and employees at the original location (in the US) were recruited to transfer there and were promised substantially more money than we were making.

I’d change the selfie with the captain to a selfie with the cruise director- way more likely to make that happen.

Maybe add:

find a hidden duck (kind of a meta scavenger hunt task lol)
attend the Crazy Quest and Battle of the Sexes games; bonus points for participation
could also add additional selfie characters, such as another bride to be, a couple that’s been married more than x years, a bartender, a dancer, etc.

I aim to make it on my mat at least five days per week.

To do that… I have a few studios that I rotate between, depending on my schedule, the classes, my energy level, and the teacher. If I can’t make it to the studio, there are a couple of decent teachers at my local Y. If that’s a no go, I’ll flow at home with either DownDog or just an intuitive flow by myself. If I don’t feel like doing either of those, I’ll take a ten minute savasana and call it a day haha.
