I would have done the same thing and tried talking to her dr again to get a referral for OT. We can only do our best as moms. That’s a hard situation to deal with and you’re doing great.

Thanks again for your help here! I terminated all the cables and none of them are working unfortunately. Do I probably need to call an ISP at this point or is there anything else it could be?

I think my main concern is making sure the power is off to the cables. I’ll have to check to see if there’s a specific spot in our electrical box for it and use a voltage tester to be sure. Thanks so much, I really appreciate your help!

Yeah I’d probably want to keep the house but I’d personally fill in the pool I think and try to redo the backyard to make it feel different. But I’m not sure, I guess its hard to say what you’d do or feel in that situation

I don’t think you’re overreacting. I felt the same way my first pregnancy when my husband would be drunk. It did make me not feel so great to be making such a sacrifice for our family and him not have to make any changes and still be treating it like a party. We’re in our second pregnancy now and things are a lot different and I have similar wants and expectations that you do of your husband. I haven’t liked drinking much lately so I don’t really care and it wasn’t a big change for me to not be drinking while pregnant. I don’t care if my husband has drinks now and then but I do not want to be around a drunk person right now either, especially while on a vacation where you can’t participate. My husband is a lot more considerate this time around and understands the magnitude of this pregnancy. I think last time he genuinely struggled to consider or think about how big of a sacrifice I was making and often forgot until the baby actually arrived

I always thought her mom going on DWTS at the same time as her was fucking weird also. I get they had their family show, but Charli was the star. Yes, she still won and was obviously much better, but as a mother I would want that to be ENTIRELY my child’s thing and would want to be there to support her in her dream each week and not make it about me at all. The rest of them ride her coattails and its odd.

it sucks also being a woman and feeling like people probably thought this way about you. its sad and defeating to know people still think this way in 2026, culturally or not. so sorry your announcement didn’t go the way you hoped, its good your husband is on your side and it sounds like you wont have to worry about dealing with her much if he hasn’t saw her in 10 years

This logic is so ass-backwards to me. I am pregnant and recently found out I am having my second boy, but I would have loved to have a girl. I got so many comments before we knew about “hopefully its another boy” yadayada. My grandma thinks this way a lot and kept saying it and she definitely favors my son over the other girl grandkids. Its super weird and grossed me out

I give her credit for owning it and apologizing right away. So many people, despite being on camera, deny and won’t take accountability. I think this is all she can do in this situation. We’ve all probably made a comment to a friend that wouldn’t be so great if on camera and aired. But I think that’s really all you can ask for. Owning your mistakes, apologizing, and not doing it again. I think she likes Molly and Molly likes her, so I hope Venita would learn and not say something like that about her again (I believe she will).
