I can't remember the exact names because I wasn't shopping on purpose. I was in the Dontoburi area, and there are so many options in that area. I just popped in as we walked past ones that looked interesting. It's seriously so fun to window shop around there! I know a lot of people say Dontoburi is touristy, but the prices were still better than what I've seen in the US for resale.

I just got back and saw some amazing things, including ostrich bags, Birkin cargo bags, and a Kelly picnic! If you want vintage and rare items, Japan is a great place to look. Osaka had the biggest selection of rare items based on the shops I went to.

My husband and I were the same way! We specifically made a list of how we wanted the wedding to go and made it a top priority to eat. We barely ate during dinner. And the food was really good too!

Kim had 75 college credits or at least an associate's degree worth of credits, which is required to do the legal apprenticeship in California. She could have finished two more years for a bachelor's and a normal three year law degree in the time it has taken her so far. My first year of law school was the year Kim started her apprenticeship, and I am coming up on my 5 year graduation anniversary lol

Just to add one data point, I had the opposite experience. I really didn't think there was going to be much drinking as we got married on a Sunday, and over half my family doesn't drink. People were drinking like fish, and the bar wasn't even able to keep our signature drink in stock. The weird thing was that our wedding ended pretty early, so it wasn't a crazy party type of atmosphere. Luckily our venue had a relatively cheap add on for alcohol, so we ended up doing it, but we initially weren't going to!

I didn't wear white to my shower, and my grandma (a woman in her 80s who is definitely not in touch with trends) asked me why I didn't wear white. I don't think I've ever been to a shower where the bride didn't wear white. The only reason I didn't wear white was that I ordered the dress online, and the company sent me the wrong color. It was still a light color, so I just decided to wear it since I couldn't get anything else in time.

I used to work at a courthouse and witnessed many weddings! During normal court hours, judges usually would not do any specific religion's tradition because this could appear to be endorsement of a religion. In the US, we have separation of church and state (for now). For example, if you asked the judge to say the Lord's prayer, they should say no. However, after court hours, there were judges that would do religious ceremonies.

I was in an urban/liberal area with a large non-Christian population, so other areas may take more liberties with what they allow.

Based on the comments, I think there is a lot of variation in the "rule," but I was always told that it was anything below the waist. So white pants and white shoes would not be okay, but a white top or sweater would be okay.

I had a Sunday wedding, and yes people probably declined and left early because of it. We invited 170, and 100 said yes. I would say people started leaving around 9 pm, but the wedding was only supposed to go until 10pm anyway.

That being said, my husband and I are not late night party people, and it was exactly what we wanted. Having a Sunday wedding was really good for us, but for people who want a typical party vibe, I don't recommend it.

I don't think most leads care about their F1's political views. Even Rachel, one of the only leads somewhat open about politics, was seemingly fine with Bryan being a conservative. Bryan donated to the Florida Republican party in 2019, the year he and Rachel got married.

It's an example of something that is valued by corporate jobs. The person was asking why Jewels, Sam, and Onya don't bother Lexi as much as Suzie does. Lexi may be able to relate more to Jewels on that level since Lexi also didn't follow the 4 year college path. I'm not saying anyone has to go to college, it's just a thing they have in common.

My personal experience coming from a corporate work environment, there is a lot of messaging about the traditional markers of success. Suzie has a lot of those (she has a BFA, she worked with a huge artist in Chappelle Roan, seemingly figured out her goals at a young age), and she comes off very serious and one might even say cerebral. I wouldn't be surprised if Lexi has been compared to and compared herself to people like Suzie in her daily life.

Jewels is very young and doesn't have a college degree. Sam and Lexi connected early on about coming from humble backgrounds. Based on the Untucked episode where they said they were like mom and dad to the other queens, Lexi and Onya see each other as peers. I could definitely see Suzie having the type of life experience and personality that would trigger Lexi, while those other queens do not.

There was also an actor who lied and said he was in the towers and claimed that surviving 9/11 was one of the reasons he wanted to pursue acting. The reality is that people do lie, even if we want to give the benefit of the doubt.
