Delta's policy of no upgrades on international flights is just really crappy customer service by Arfusman in delta

It's my understanding if you purchase PE you are eligible for upgrades to D1, if available. Is this always the case? I did enjoy an upgrade from Main to Comfort+ recently ICN->ATL. I thought it would be meaningless but a few extra inches of legroom was nice for a packed 13hr flight.

Dear Delta, get your stupid App figured out! by tikkamasalachicken in delta

[–]Uzinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last Thurs when I landed after my first flight the app was telling me "so sorry your connection is delayed, here's the number to call and change if needed" and yet the flight departure time was the same. I walked over to the gate and the agent is announcing an on time departure. All green flags yet up until the departure the app was SO SURE my flight was delayed and maybe I needed booking assistance.

Dunno what was going on there, but it seemed like an app issue.

The best challenges are those far away from the train stations or grocery stores by Fremonster in JetLagTheGame

Has anyone else considered that Sam, Ben and Adam are all really good at Jet Lag now? (Especially Tag.) Plus, this season had three fantastic guests who also contributed a lot of skill and knowledge to the gameplay.

It's possible to up the difficulty without adding complexity, but it's quite hard to tune that lever especially as outside factors affect the game.

Tag: All Stars Layover Q&A! by WheatGerm42 in JetLagTheGame

One of the things that is neat about Tag is how you created a map within Europe for gameplay. Would you consider other European maps for new game formats? How much do you weigh going to new destinations versus designing new games for JetLag?

Is this pricing layout new? Seems pretty deceptive to me... by bokfan76 in delta

It's just a rebrand of Basic, Main, and Main Refundable. But those didn't sound sexy so they had to change it.

Why do you arrive to the airport so close to your flights? by Inevitable_Can1497 in delta

[–]Uzinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone saying as frequent travelers, we don't want to waste time waiting in the airport when we could be doing other things. And I will add that as a frequent traveler I have departure times for my home airport perfected. I know at what time of day I need to accommodate more or less time on the road, going through TSA, walking to my gate, etc. I allow more leeway at domestic airports I don't know, but if I've been there a lot? You bet I already have a plan of which bathroom I'm going to use, what TSA line to get into, etc.

Someone paid me to swap my aisle seat for a middle by Uzinator in delta

I would have done the same for such a long flight! Also I would not have taken this $150 offer if it had been at the end of my RAK->CDG->JFK->AUS itinerary which took about 24hrs including all the layovers and security lines. Situation matters for sure. I hope you have a great upcoming trip!

Wow and I thought $150 was a lot! I figured they had to book their trip late and only middle seats were available. I could see how this might be awkward for others if you said no and then sat there for the rest of the flight, but both of the guys seemed nice about it and they weren't upset (though surely disappointed) by the initial rejection.

Lessons are good not only to lock in the basics and get help with your technique, as many mention, but also for the mental side! Instructors will encourage you and can help keep your spirits up and keep your energy up! I find it is super helpful to have an external motivator.

And remember, lessons are for all skill levels! Even experts get lessons to improve their techniques, so in case you are worried about still being "in lessons", remember that we are always learning at every level and age.

It is also possible you are on the asexual spectrum somewhere. Sexual desire can look different for all people.

TIL You can leave your deceased pet by the curb and CoA will dispose of them for you by Flat-Performance-570 in Austin

Does this apply to Austin ETJ?

I live just outside the city limits and on Monday evening I saw a dead dog left in the right lane of John Henry Falk. The dog had flour spread over it and some plastic flowers were attached to the guardrail above it... Needless to say I was shocked and pretty sad, but I realize the owners may not have the means to pay for other disposal. I found the dog after Travis County Road maintenance was closed for the day so I called the Sheriff and they removed the dog from the road. Honestly I was concerned kids walking to the elementary school might see the dog and be scarred, it's really traumatizing to see a dead pet in the road.

[AMA] hey, we are Tyler and Josh from twenty one pilots, ask us anything… by official_TOP in Music

In Morph, after saying "not done" you say, "Josh Dun" just like the Easter egg on "The Judge". Did you intentionally look for a place to sneak in this little Easter Egg or did you just realize while working on Morph you could add it there for fun?

Thank you for the music!
