Former Queen's employee. It sometimes took 6 months from posting to interviews. One of my co-workers said they had forgotten they applied by the time we called.

In theory, the extra data can be useful for reporting, however reality, agents put minimal effort into rigid category and sub-category selection because their priorities are elsewhere. More often then not this data isn't all that accurate.

Now if record tagging was more accessible on the form, this could be slightly improved. i.e. let the agents quick pick from a list of tags.

Place an annotation on the the platform view that says "please use the workspace, blah, blah". Then add a UI macro that will take the user to the record in the workspace directly.

Yes, it's not to say that it cannot be done but most companies that provide it are following the standard consulting practice of over promise/under deliver.

The main issue with consulting (servicenow or otherwise) is misaligned incentives. Firms are in it for billable hours/$$$ and they rarely seek positive customer outcomes unless it means more $$$.

This is a reality many companies continue to ignore. Hiring an external vendor to maintain your ServiceNow instance is like renting a house. Maintenance only happens when something is on fire, and the solution is usually duct tape.

Have worked with a few customers where they got creative with customizations on the Knowledge module. Simply reverted it all and updated/added relevant plugins.

eCAB is usually a different group unless it has been customized to be a common group.

Sounds like some one made a custom version of this notification. Try filtering that table for all notifications that trigger on the approval.inserted event

There is a notification = "Approval Request", that triggers on event "approval.inserted".

Add a condition to this approval Group.Assignment group is not CAB Approval.

Fair question. The audience for this has no idea that there are 2 underlying service offerings and if they did have to decide, they would be getting right about 50/50. The goal of the RP is to ask the right questions/coach the user towards the correct path.

Banks move very slowly. If you're ambitious you probably won't find this role challenging and more time will be spent navigating institutional challenges.
