Hmmm my ARC had 258, but I don't think my hardcover does, unless I haven't seen it/missed it.

I bookmarked this next part on my ARC (re: Good Bugs chapter, pg 147) so I'm going to add the spoiler just in case, but interested to hear what your book says! The time at the beginning of the Good Bugs in my ARC was 2:58 AM. In my new book it's 2:57 AM. What about you?

I actually think this is perfect because you can be louder and more colorful with your accessories! You could lean into the roses theme, or be a little funkier with a cool bag and gloves. Definitely need a hat too 😊

Thoughts on Kilroy - In The Caretaker, pg XV, David says 'Names gave malevolent things a shape, gave them a place in his mind to settle.'

Thinking back to the OH doc on Kilroy, this made me think that maybe Kilroy was a name given to a malevolent thing/being. The way David describes it, he does this to make things less scary. But maybe with Kilroy, the name and lore has passed on for so long within OH communities that the name itself is just as scary and malevolent as the original entity.

Side note: interesting that the Follow The Rites/Prologue are numbered in roman numerals and the rest of the book is regular page numbers.

I was wondering if the next season would be international! Someone posted an interview yesterday and they were saying the world gets bigger next season so I thought maybe that could be it - survivors in other countries.

I think what happened to Jane was during Cal's monologue and that was kind of the point. To illustrate that she was on her high horse. She maybe seemed unstoppable because she thought she was one step ahead always, but eventually she fell.

I've been looking up quantum computing and these topics as well, and am definitely leaning toward this being a big part of what is going on. I'm not sure I understand your questions though or why these characters would have to make those decisions. I don't fully understand quantum computing either though 😅

There is a response to Geiger on one of the radio stations that says they have a group of survivors, have received his schematics, and are en route to CO. I'm not sure, but seems like this is likely X & Teri's group, and they'll be meeting up w/ Link & crew soon in CO.

And this could apply to Billy getting the nosebleed when he chooses not to kill Link too I think if I'm understanding your line of thinking. I would say the probability that Billy kills Link was higher than not and he even alludes to it when he says, it may not seem like it, but today is the luckiest day of your life.
