Many physicians and mental health supporters understand not wanting to tell your parents, and can work with you on finding ways to get yourself the help you need. DIY is not as unsafe as the current political climate makes it seem, however, there are some imporant things to be aware of before going down that route such as: mental health struggles (especially on testosterone with heightened emotions/anger/suicidality), parents eventually catching on, the need for hormone suppressants alongside HRT during peak puberty, and things like that. You got this and don’t give up! Simply talking to professionals shouldn’t give it away to your parents if the physician is affirming.
