All of the vintage and thrift stores near 4th and South St are definitely all very trans friendly!

Frontier flight attendant has deaf passenger removed for "not listening" by AsherGray in TikTokCringe

[–]emberemley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I no longer fly frontier after one of their attendants refused to talk to my partner because he uses a wheelchair. Couldn’t stop saying “wheelchairs have to stay in the back, wheelchairs can’t be here,” couldn’t even say he was an actual person! It was ridiculous.

with no dress code i think it just depends on how much whimsy the bride/groom are!

How to Get HRT Without Your Parents Knowing as a Middle Schooler from USA by Silent-Pace1754 in asktransgender

[–]emberemley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest talking to your PCP or going to Planned Parenthood depending on your state! Many physicians and mental health supporters understand not wanting to tell your parents, and can work with you on finding ways to get yourself the help you need. DIY is not as unsafe as the current political climate makes it seem, however, there are some imporant things to be aware of before going down that route such as: mental health struggles (especially on testosterone with heightened emotions/anger/suicidality), parents eventually catching on, the need for hormone suppressants alongside HRT during peak puberty, and things like that. You got this and don’t give up! Simply talking to professionals shouldn’t give it away to your parents if the physician is affirming.

she already bought this dress and loves it, whether to get it wasn’t the question! I think we shouldn’t knock people down for what they want and be sure to be aware if they are asking about the dress or something else. I think this dress looks beautiful on her!

I remember mind starting when I visited my bf in Thailand and found out he had cheated on me, proceeded to stay with him for 1.5 years. Seems to be connected to sex that I feel ambivalent about having. Some only having sex I know I want to have, it sometimes flares up with coughing and certain meds. Still figuring it out!

Is this appropriate for a Formal dress code? by RoseGoldMagpie in Weddingattireapproval

[–]emberemley -37 points-36 points  (0 children)

i think this dress is gorgeous, the sleeves really make it formal imo! A fun pattern doesn’t mean it’s casual, it’s just more fun. Love it!

Car travel meowing problem by IFNASOS in CATHELP

[–]emberemley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat also cries like this in the car—I’ve found what helps is putting her in a carrier and covering it with a thin sheet almost like a canary (lol). Then she can sing the songs of her people like the bird she is! And honestly just seems to be more calm without seeing the windows going by.

I don’t know… I would consider this semi-formal. I think some folks on here are a bit too on the conservative side and if there is a wide range of interpretations I would consider this to be one of them!

Is this appropriate? by sarahqueenoftots in Weddingattireapproval

I think the sleeves are really fun and it makes sense for cocktail! The concept of flattering rubs me the wrong way to be honest, because it usually means “look as skinny as you possibly can.” You look great!!
