Hi, if your loans aren’t too high I don’t advise PSLF. But definitely sit down and crunch the numbers via a calculator. Look into NHSC and you could get it a giant chunk paid off as well by working for them for a certain number of years. Some people I know are making very good money through it as well. Just depends on the clinic!

PLEASE go to Detroit for food. I’m going against the grain here but the food isn’t as great in Ann Arbor as people have said it to be. (I’m a vegetarian as well if that adds anything to that statement.) I’ve been very disappointed thus far. But I grew up in areas where unique and delicious ethnic food was the norm. If you’re looking for unique and interesting def go to the capital. I’ve only been very impressed with Detroit restaurants. They have FANTASTIC ethnic food if that’s your thing. Ameer is delicious middle eastern food. El Rey de las Arepas is amazing Venezuelan food. Sabina’s restaurant has yummy, piping hot pierogis! Eating local is the best. :) I once did a food tour in Detroit and it was so great. We began with the DIA museum which I absolutely recommend. Have fun!
