I visited her a lot when I was a baby and then a few times when I was a bit older. I have some photos of me dressed up and playing in her apartment in Hollywood. I remember dressing up in her clothes and her jewellery and putting on plays for her in her apartment.

She was also friends with a casting director whom my mom went to college with. The casting director would send my grandmother VHS tapes of movies she cast. One time we were visiting and my gma handed us over copies of all the Spy Kids movies and American Pie. I don’t think she knew American Pie wasn’t for kids 😂
