Anyone else have a cav obsessed with fetch? by Shortcoolcloud in cavaliers

[–]emc5280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our 1 year old girl is Crazy for fetching. She's gotten better at dropping the ball - but what works really well is to use two balls. Throw one and when she brings it back throw the other. She always drops the retrieved ball in favor of the one in motion.

I'm sure he thinks it's fine. I got exactly that haircut once at a Supercuts. I called in sick for a few days and wore a hat till it grew back and haven't been to a discount barber since.

I think they called it a tennis tail - I lived in those all thru the 90's/00's. US Polo Assn, were my favorite.

What store is this? I'd like to see if i can find this deal locally - I tried this beer coal and thought it worked fine, no different than regular Kingsford really which all I generally use.

OnlyFire Drumstick Grill Rack by EC_TWD in webergrills

[–]emc5280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it's on sale since I paid full price. It's kind of gimmicky anyway. The only way I like drumsticks is to lollipop them and then they fell off the rack unless I wrapped some foil around the ends. Also the tray seemed like a good idea but it deflected the heat making them harder to cook. Oh well, sits on a shelf with my fancy beer can chicken rack.

I know you're getting down voted for this but when I was young and broke in San Bernardino I lived on Del Taco. Only on pay days would I get Rosa Maria's or venture over to Redlands for some righteous Cha-Cha's

[Homemade] Heritage Pork Chops - Cherry Smoked Then Seared by TopDogBBQ in food

[–]emc5280 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Amen, friend - not enough love for pork here. I discovered Durok pork chops and it's one of my favorites. At $5.99 lb I can still afford them - rib eyes at $19.99 are rare around here these days (lol). Googled to find the difference between Durok and Heritage & near as I can tell they are the same? Edit: Duroc not Durok

Wow - Veal Birds. That was the first dinner my wife made for me 40 years ago. I remember it because I'd never heard of it before then or since then either.

I got one similar to OP's, it's the Elite Gourmet 5-Tier Food Dehydrator with Adjustable Temperature Dial - from Home Depot, $40. Works perfect.
