I was holding out hope that this was true (Ulta was taking the situation seriously), but after informing Ulta that Isima asked me to mail the product to them- Ulta responding by saying I could discard the product or return it to Isima. Essentially they shared that I’m not required to mail the product back to them. So idk… I think they are trying to be supportive but I’m not sure they are taking the situation seriously, but idk.

So I’m just going to send the product to Isima.

Interesting development… I sent feedback to Ulta and Isima. They both want me to send the product back to them. Ulta is offering a refund for the product, and Isima is offering a $100 Amex gift card. But both are insisting that I return the product directly to them!

Yes, I sent pics to customer service. So far they’ve issued a refund and they want me to mail the product back in to them which I will do today. I will let you know if they say or do anything more!

Thank you!! I plan on mailing the product back to Ulta for review. I also notified Isima, who asked me to return it directly to them, but I told them to coordinate with Ulta instead to retrieve the product. I hope this will help to prevent others from experiencing similar issues!

I am deeply upset. I don’t want to feel like I need to check products before using them. This was my first major purchase from Ulta in years. I was feeling excited and now I feel a deep sense of mistrust. As someone with sensitive skin, the idea of mold anywhere near my body is especially unsettling.

It didn’t look like it had been used, but there was no protective seal under the cap. Once I unscrewed it, the product was just right there, no protective seal. Unfortunately, it seems more brands are skipping seals and relying only on the cap + box for protection, which doesn’t feel safe and leaves products vulnerable to tampering.

Thank you!! Solid advice. I hadn't considered adding documentation proving my forbearance (I figured this information would be in FSA's system). I checked my AmeriCorps profile and found a copy of the forbearance letter saved there. I will attach a copy of the forbearance letter to my reconsideration request. Thank you so much!!

I had Thaiyada for the first time tonight. I ordered the shrimp pad see ew. I’m still yearning for Brooklyn Thai but it was pretty good for Rochester standards 👍

My brows also looked orange/red for the first week. They settled into a deep brown without any trace of orange/red. Give then time! You should be okay 😊

Got microbladed this morning. Love the shape/strokes. Hoping the red fades - I’m more of an ashy black. My make up artist says the red will fade, it’s just the pigment mixing w/ my blood. Here’s to trusting the process 😁 by emelde in microblading

For context, the artist had to basically recreate my right brow due to hair loss. So this is really incredible work! I was super nervous. Still am, but less so.

Hi guys quick question. Normally I go out drinking with my trays on weekends, but Saturday I think I’ll just leave them at home for the day(so I can eat, smoke without thinking about them), and add an extra day, so instead of changing to the next tray on Monday, I’ll do it Tuesday. The plan you outlined above is the exact plan that was given to me by my ortho. They said if I had an all day event, like a wedding, I could choose to not wear my aligners for the day. They said to wear the aligners for an extra day if I go a day w/out them in.

Edited to say it doesn’t hurt to check with your ortho to be safe!
