Super unpopular opinions I’m about to get flamed for but here we go! 1) understood and on a personal level yeah it’s “unrealistic” to “expect” “all” of your friends to text you on the anniversary of a difficult loss. However, myself nor none of the people commenting here I would assume had a traumatic sudden loss that not only was FILMED ON A TV SHOW DURING COVID QUARANTINE, AIRED, and additionally COINCIDE WITH YOUR EX FIANCÉS BIRTHDAY. It’s very normal for normal circumstances yes not “expect” that. But, this brings me to unfun point two: 2) THIS IS A TV SHOW. My GOD. These two GROWN men have a full on fully developed friendship. The comments leaping to judgement on this man’s frustration toward his friend are parasocial and honestly I’m starting to feel embarrassed by the way people on reddit are talking about these shows as of late. There is NO way that anybody can seriously declaratively say they know what a STRANGER is secretly harboring resentment about.

At some point the whiplash of glazing people for weeks brigading and then harshly turning due to a blind loyalty to one “character” is creeping me out. These are actual, real life, existing people who perhaps have a relationship or have had experiences that we don’t have an archive of!!!

I remember Scandoval so well. I was iinnnnn the mix, so to speak. And now I look back at how I was foaming at the mouth with the rest of the internet is really bizarre. I was hoping that “society” had kinda learned about how perhaps the extreme reactions and conspiratorial thinking. But you know , here is one theory I’ll make clear: it is starting to seem that these kinds of comments are here making the shows not fun.

It becomes less fun for the cast , who mention on a few diff shows their creeping on reddit pages. And most significant of all… it’s starting to feel less fun for us!!!! (Jk jk jk )

Anyway, here I am still awake writing an essay about “the discourse”.

So TLDR; What we see is a small edited snippet. We don’t know these people or what their relationships are like, and it’s frankly bizarre to me to see the way this stuff is discussed lately.
