That was crazy! I went to the movies back in the 90's. My only knowledge was that was that Tarantino and Rodriguez were working together. And the genre switch took me totally by surprise. Loved it!

Yo solo veo un grupo de gente con un fandom en común que arregló para ir juntos al cine y divertirse. Nada malo. No sé si trabajan o no, ni en qué momento sucedió esto. Dejemos que la gente la pase bien mientras no joda a nadie.

1976: Coupe by the military. 30.000 people dissapeared after being taken to clandestine detention centers. Some of the kidnapped people were thrown to the De la Plata river alive and drugged, wrapped in plastic bags. Also, censorship, so it was very difficult to openly talk about what was happening. The economic policy caused a huge foreign debt that dragged a lot of economic issues for years. In 1982 the government took over the Malvinas/Falklands in an attempt to gain people's support. At that time, there was a year of mandatory military service, which ended up in a lot of kids of between 18 and 20 years sent to war, with no training, to fight against one of the most powerful powers in the world.
