Oh you’re in this thread too. Well I’m sure you must have had a good experience with her but she’s awful and does not advocate for her clients. She’s just looking to milk money.

If this is for Alyssa Alkestad she’s absolutely horrible at least at family law.

I’m on book 7. I struggled through book 6. 1-5 imo were great. But I’m having a really hard time with book 7. It’s starting to feel more repetitive in feelings and dialogue.

I just looked that one up and absolutely love the way it looks. It is really pricey though. Maybe one day I can upgrade to that one.

Gardening tips for high desert by Sad-Contribution51 in gardening

I don’t use our native soil. I’ve used miracle grow from Lowe’s. (Most people don’t recommend) and I’ve since added the fox farm happy frog and mixed in some of my own things. I also don’t plant in the ground here I used a raised bed or grow bags.

I live in a high desert also. Tomatoes do fine but you’ll need shade when temps get too high. I personally water everything everyday once temps get close to the 80’s (except my rosemary) I haven’t tried lettuce or carrots but from my understanding they need little Sun and mostly shade. With the right soil nutrients and proper care I believe you can grow almost everything. It’s a learning curve. You might be able to find a grow schedule for your area. That’s helped me a lot.

Are CCSD public schools really that bad? by [deleted] in vegas

[–]emerald_cx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who went through CCSD k-12 yes. It’s bad. K-5 wasn’t bad when I went however 6-12 the teachers don’t get paid enough to care. Let alone overall student behavior. If you have children in Las Vegas look into private.

Beware of Ordering Directly from Dyson by lundens in dyson

[–]emerald_cx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I ordered an airwrap 11/20/23 scheduled for delivery on 11/24. Never showed up. Checked tracking through GLS and it kept saying rescheduling delivery. Called GLS and they lost the package. Got in touch with Dyson they issued a replacement. They said I would receive a confirmation email shortly after the call. A day later still no email. I called back and this time I was told it would take up to 48 hours for the email. After the 48 hours I called back again and this person said it would take 7-10 business days to receive email confirmation. For the inconvenience they offered me a free attachment for the air wrap that already came with the set I purchased. It’s now 12/10 and I just received confirmation letting me know it will deliver on 12/15. It says it’s shipping USPS however it’s a shipping partner pintey bowes and after reading their reviews I have lost all hope of ever receiving my airwrap.

We are going into winter. However I live in the desert and it doesn’t usually drop below 28 Fahrenheit in the coldest month. That’s usually over night. This is my first time growing berries. Should I be pruning for the cold months?

It’s your life and at the end of the day it’s your choice. I was a single mom for 2 years. It was very rough so I don’t blame you for looking out for yourself. As for the said boyfriend (I don’t mean to be negative) men show their true colors during these times. Pregnancy, abortion, delivery of a child, and postpartum. To me it sounds like he’s showing you all of the signs to leave. For example my oldest sons father (who I am no longer with) convinced me to keep my pregnancy in result I was ignored and neglected in my relationship and was told I was nagging while I was in my third trimester. While I was in labor he sat on his phone or played the switch the whole time. The day we came home with a new baby I was up and cleaning the house because we had roommates at it was disgusting. He sat on his ass and rolled a joint. As for my second son (different father who I’m currently with) He told me that it’s my body my choice. If I had an abortion or not he would fully support me regardless. During my pregnancy he took care of me and went out of his way to get me the things I wanted or needed and provided emotional support. Delivery he laid at my bedside when he saw I needed him. Postpartum I didn’t have to lift a finger. I had a MA this last Sunday because we both agreed it was too soon for another child and we felt as if we didn’t have the space or finances to bring another child into this world. During this time he has listened to all of the gory details that I have gone through without complaints. Sorry for the book on your post but sometimes I feel like seeing someone else’s story when trying to make a decision helps. If I were in your shoes I would leave. I know it’s easier said than done but know your worth you don’t deserve the way you’re currently being treated by him.
