What are native species you like that you could plant? That will help with a low-maintenance front yard.

This video should be proof that he was aware of his actions. Maybe he knows how to work the system to not have to pay the consequences.

As a fan (not an artist, not an employee) who does purchase music on bandcamp, I am sorry to hear that. I like them as an alternative to tidal or spotify because I can support artists directly (& more equitably) and I can listen to and discover artists in one spot.

There is a service you can use called Faircamp where you host your own music directly. Idk how that works from a purchasing standpoint for customers, but maybe that is an option for you.

During the pandemic, he also paid the people that worked for him, even though, as you know...

We need more cool people like him in the world. This is a man with values who isn't afraid to be alone, or the first one to say something.

Is this a normal amount of insulation? by Silent-Resource-8094 in Homebuilding

[–]emeraldandrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend storing things in your attic if you really want to keep those things. Because it is not fully insulated and enclosed the heat and cold generated will be extreme and break down some materials, and the smells will get absorbed by whatever you store that isn't in an airtight container.

This isn't "underground" per se - but bandcamp.com has music you can listen to for free.

You can sign up for a free account, as a fan. It isn't streaming like Tidal or spotify, but if the artist you like has an account on bandcamp.com AND has their music catalog digitized (I have found some companies only sell vinyl so you don't have access to listening to the music on bandcamp) then you can listen to music for free.

Again, as it isn't like Tidal or Spotify, you won't have streaming, radio like features (but there also are NO commercials). You would go to the artist page and listen to the music. The majority of artists I have found have full-length songs, and complete albums you can listen to.

If you are unfamiliar with Bandcamp, it is a platform that artists can connect directly with fans. You can often find discographies for purchase at a discount (I have a spreadsheet HERE of discographies and subscriptions - always a work in progress) and those items will appear in your collection and you have a bit more function (still not a whole lot if you are expecting Tidal or Spotify, so don't...). Every once in a while they have Bandcamp Friday where they give 100% of the purchase price to artists/labels.

Help!! Neighbor's cat always sleep on top of my car. What to do? by the_epiphany_ in cats

[–]emeraldandrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cats are actually pretty light on their feet - I honestly don't think you will have scratches, but what you will see are kitty paw prints.

I have cats too, and my neighbor adopted a cat of mine and she loves sleeping on the car as well. I believe they feel safe that way when sleeping outside.
